I never used a method scrog, but seing your pics i´m thinking to use it... The yield is more bigger than other methods... very nice.

nice grow so far I don't know if it was already asked but what is your wattage and setup. Plants look great I can't wait to start my babies.
UltimateWarrior- Thanks dude.. err 600w (lol) in a large wardrobe (more like a cab sorta thing though) Running 1 exaust fan and 1 inline (unsure of cfm)

Anywho i pulled over 10oz. Both are supurb smoke (best ive grown yet) but the ak is the winner!. Welp ive turned the ladies in the cab, hopefully going to be a little bigger this round and everything is going great. Also, took some clones tonight so now we just gotta hope? So i guess ill start to take some pics as some action starts growing, so far the jack is well trained being the bigger of the two but the ak is starting to branch out well.

Hey dude, i ended up with about 3.5ish of jack i think, and got over 10 oz from both, probably 11-12.Organic Farmer said:

You damn right thats what its about. I have 9 plants now and was wondering when to start this process of scrog? I have not yet seen preflowers thats when Im going to start the flowering period. If I wait that long though my plants might out grow my area. Hmmm... decisions decisions.D Rock said:
Somebody recently pmed me asking me some questions and i kinda rambled on a bit, so i mays well post it here. Mostly stoned ramblings but hey hopefully some of it makes sense?. Next grow i may take some pics of the way i do things.
I run hydro so i dont use a screen for the first few days at least, usually give it a top if its needed to branch it out a bit more, once it gets a few branches around the place i setup my screen not far off the pot height (dont want the screen too high otherwise your branches wont grow horizontally as well)
Training is a must for scrog to work, its easy and the branches can take a fair bit as u will figure after doing it alot. I just let the branches grow up through the screen till i feel theyre big enough to go outwards further, then i just pull the tip back through the screen (can be tricky sometimes) and place where you want.
I veg for awhile to fill the screen a little so i dont bother letting them get too far up and through the screen and just try take them outwards as much as possible. If in flower its hard to judge when to stop training below the screen, i usually continue to train until most of the stretch has stopped, you dont want your buds in the screen a inch or more above is good
I also do alot of trimming of big leaves in the canopy to get light to as many bud sites as i can, i top where i can before i flower, tipping is good because even with just lsting the branch down your going to end up with a fat bud and a few smaller buds running down the stem few branches but generally small. So by topping your making a Y from the branch which gives you more
nice size buds **** im stoned and im going on a bit so...
