Dude, that was way bullshit to talk to him that way, all he was doing was showing his concern on the matter and you got to go blow it up and show your dis-concern on the matter, so totally un cool dude.

Okay, I emailed them several days ago and no reply. www.alibaba.com, right? I registered, it asks you for a business name, wtf?? Anyways, I registered, looked up IGS, and sent them an email. I am having issues with my HH Deluxe, and have my receipt and everything, but no reply. What am I doing wrong?

Don't forget to use a oscillating fan to blow between the canopy and the light.
This keeps the plants from getting burned from light radiation. It's not just temps you have to worry about. Many make the mistake of putting the light too close to their plants. Even with air cooled reflectors you still have to use a fan to blow between the plant tops and the light.

Alibaba is just a company listing site.

You need to email them at [email protected]. That is their main email and they responded to me within a day. Not that it's helped yet...

Hey Guys,

I'm really frustrated with the whole thing. I've washed the poles with bleach, soapy water, etc. I then washed the insides of the tent with alcohol on different occasions. I can still smell some off gassing. Nothing has really worked. The plants look like they may start to get better and then come crashing down again.

I've been in contact with hydrohuts and my retailer and I can't even get a refund or any type of resolution. My retailer says hydrofarm is screwing him over it, so I guess he's gonna pass the buck.

I bought this tent a month ago and it has about destroyed my plants and my wallet, but no one wants to do anything about it.

Caveat Emptor, friends! It doesn't seem like these people are on our side. It seems to be very adversarial conversation to try to get any type of resolution.

Looks like I'm screwed, hope you guys fare better.

I don't think there is anything you can do to the hydrohut to fix it.

The only thing that is left to try, is to leave it open outdoors or where there is a lot of air flow, this did not work for all, but if yours does not resolve with this method, then we all know they used some other product to cheapen it up that is causing a chemical reaction to keep allowing the off gassing of the huts.

I'm on the edge. Of what I'm not sure.

I contacted the people at hydro hut by email few days ago. They seemed sorry for the problem, but offered no resolution. When I pressed him for a new poles/hut he got pretty pissed but said one would be on the way this week...., I will keep you posted. :badday:

Stitch, you really need to stop leading people on with the whole HHut situation... only one person has posted on this website saying the new poles/Hut did not work... we have no real solutions. "The only thing that is left to try, is to leave it open outdoors or where there is a lot of air flow, this did not work for all,"... I just saw you post this on more than one occasion. As much as we appreciate your contributions to the Cannabis Infirmary, you have little to no knowledge of the situation and solutions.

and they had washed the hut down with soap /water and the problem left.

i want to pick up one of these delux units from someone having probs.
haha i want a bargin from some idiot who cant simply wipe it down.

I have the regular 4x4 and was affected. My understanding is that it could be any model. I washed mine with no success. My hydro store returned mine to hydrofarm, the distributor, and they replace my faulty hut with their own new branded model, called the habitat i am told. It looks exactly alike. It should arrive wednesday. I was offered this or a refund and a 25% restocking fee. I choose the replacement. I assume hydrofarm will do this for any person who has their store contact the hydrofarm rep.

dont know if i posted this pic already but that is after being in the hut for 2 days, they progressivly got much worse and i ended up tossing about 80% of them, i have a few recovering, but not quick. to anyone that doubts this. it is a real problem and it is killing plants. i have plants in another location that are perfectly fine in the same soil. its not pretty, im very warey of their products now and i decided to go out and buy a c-13 type cab instead. i doubt ill use the replacement one, i dont want to put all the effort into setting it up and risking my plants again.

Perfect! Have I got a "bargin" for you!

I have both 4x4s and 4x8s that are affected. Clearly, I'm too much of an "idiot" to wipe them down properly. So, although I would never try to sell them to anyone unsuspecting, I'll sell you any or all of them for 50% off.

Everyone wins! (or do they?)

Hey, I am trying to help out, I know I have said this on more than one occassion, I let peeps know this has not worked for everyone, but since this issue is such a hit and miss, everything is worth the try; I never get anyone's hopes up, Though I did not post it in this one, but if you check some of my previous post's I state that "this did not work for many people"

I help peeps out, not get there hopes up. I know about as much as everyone else here has done, I read about everythread on the matter and did some research as to what was the cause and why, so as I said before I don't post unless I know something, and my last post was aimed at getting, just because it does not work for one person does NOT mean it's going to be the same with the next, though the chances are high, it's still not 100%

All tent sizes are affected. I own two 2x4's and both of them are killing my plants.

I've washed the poles, painted them, sealed them with caulking on the seams and buttons. I've also washed the inside of the tents with alcohol twice on one and three time on the other. I've got as much air running through as my fans will push and pull and I've got two carbon scrubbers running.
