New growth rotting on fresh clones

Hey guys I'm pretty sure this is some form of bud rot but I can't seem to kick it. Its mainly affecting new growth on the tops of my cuts and its been affecting about 30% of my clones each round of cuttings (not cool). I'm cutting from super healthy moms, in rockwool, into domes. I've been keeping my vents 100% open and even wiping the moisture that accumulates on the insides of the domes almost daily. Any ideas on how I can take this a step further? I'm not looking to spray fungicides or anything else to cover it up everytime I take cuts I want to kill this at the source.

Sterilize your domes!

Your right about that being some sort of rot.
Heat + humidity = faster to disaster.
It's caused by the leaves touching the dome & it can't transpire water so it dies off.
You might put a pencil or something under one edge of the dome so that you can get some air flow through it.

I don't use domes very often but when I do, I try to make sure plant parts arent in contact with it.

Yeah I mean its weird I've cleaned the domes with anti bacterial soap but I could definitely take that a step further with something stronger....or just get new ones. I've been taking cuts the same way for years in the same room too and I've never had this problem...I don't cut them too big they're just under the domes by about an 1" I keep the undergrowth clean so I don't get any stem rot with no standing water in the trays and all my vents open.

The pencil trick is a nice touch I think I'll try that.

Makes sense I didn't really think that would be the problem but everything is pointing in that direction. I'm gonna hit all my trays and domes with some physan 20 hopefully that will work.

MJPassion is spot on I think, they are too humid, condensation is rotting the tips, try the "pencil trick"

What you might want to try, is soaking those cuttings in physan20, 2-5ml/gallon for an hour or longer. It's possible that fungus is inside the cutting and systemic in the source mom too. Keeping the clones dry up top while rooting may help slow it but if it's in the clone, it's gonna have a rough time growing up regardless.

I had a very similar issue. I was overwatering. I try to keep my cubes moist to almost dry. Rather than dripping wet. Still keeping humidity up around 70-80% the first 4-5 days then gradually dropping it down to 55ish by the time they are rooted.
