Can only speak on topics I'm familiar with. I know nothing about LED's. Never owned or worked with em. I was addressing the OP's original question... to which my answer is spot on.

I can't comment on how the CMH compares to LED. I defer to you since you apparently run LED.

Not picking on you. Most growers know very little about light spectrums and/or intensity, and its affect on cannabis

Umoles has nothing to do with the type of light, umoles is a unit of measure quantifying how many photons reach the canopy in one meter square, at one foot intervals from the canopy.

With a properly designed LED panel there is no comparison, as 100% of its' output is directed at the canopy

Peeked at your current thread PF. Will explore more thoroughly later. I have an unused Hydrohut 2x4 that would be a good fit for an 8-bulb t5 fixture. May be putting it in service based on your progression. I have a spot that could appreciate a low wattage / low heat 2x4 tent. We'll see...
