Morning, say thing happen to me, but on another site. I got logged out right after i typed a super long reply. Pissed me off so bad. That's weird that the cloning took three weeks. I used to use miracle grow stuff when i started out myself, but stay after from them. How was the soil in the cups? If you watered them to much its not going to force the stem to push out roots. They are going to just sit there. Sorry, if you already know this. Me and TK talked about this along time and did alittle test with some other members and found that if you keep the stem area on the drier side. They really do force for roots and the roots want water. The humidity dome are awesome and help to keep the cuts from dring out. Maybe next time the will root faster. It sucks not being able to get the nutz you like. I've been in your shoes and will most likely in the future. I try to stock up if i have the money at the time, but me and a few members are always testing prodcues from Wal-Mart, Lowes, and Home Depot. You'd be surprise about some of the ferts they sell and some area's actually sell good stuff. I personal like the Sam soil and use it for all my parent plants with perlit, Blood, and Bone Meal mix. After awhile, I like to add PBP. I also use the full line of PBP and love it. Sorry, about the picture. I thought it was from Red. Glad to see you both liked the buds and plant. The cross is a true F1, so more work is going to follow in the future. Going to look for alittle more of a yielder to bring her up to par. I have about 100 seeds for "ME" to grow out and test and I'll see from there. What direction i'm going to do with her. Sorry to hear about the Sour Saver. Wasn't that from Zep? I can't remember, but i think so. Some cross just don't produce or are funny. You might have to get rid of that one. If its giving you problems. I tested some of the first LDS#1 from BOG and had Hemi's myself and it was a couple of different plants, but i did find a few that where out of this work. I got rid of them, because of pollen and seeds. Well, it sounds like you got everything setup pretty nice. If your looking for something heavier. There are a coupld of good ones from Capt Crip and Texas Kid. That's if your wanting to try local members stuff. If not, more then enough killer stuff from the Big Names. I personal keep Green Giant in my roution. That is one heavy ass plant with taste and killer high. I'm talking about some reall monster's in the weight class. Looking to do a run of Chronic. Got two packs of those and some Critcal Mass also. Might do a side by side thread and see which one is the better commerical plant. Well, talk for the info and good luck with the clones. I'm sure you'll be doing well with them. If you got to and need. Make some tea to feed them. Blood and Bone meal works great and add some Mad to them also. You sould do well.
Take care,
BG

Hey
I mix my soil in a rubbermaid tub and pretty much Blood, Bone meal, perlite, and sam choice soil. Well, any organic soil. Can't get the sam's soil anymore. I go with garden safe. I mix it up and report parent plants. I grow in hydro and keep parent plants in soil. The seem to do better that way. Less chance of problems. Once they've been in the soil for awhile. I routate them out for new clone parents. I feed them with the PBP line. I use tea from time to time. The way i make my tea. Is to take a empty gallon water jug. Place some blood and bone meal in the jug and place about 3/4 water in empty jug. I use store bought water, but tap water is fine. Filling it up to 3/4 let me to be able to shake up the mix pretty well. I let it sit for awhile and shake every day a few times. I usally keep the jug in a cool dark place. Don't want and fungi forming. This allow's the stuff in the jug to break down some and i just top feed them. You can take a coffee filter and strain the mix if you like, but i use it all. Then i water the plant's till the are dry and lite. I use the pick up the plant by the stalk method. If they feel lite. I feed them water every other day or so. Then feed them about twice a week with tea. I hope this isn't to bad for directions. I sucks at keeping things in order. OH SHIT, just read you was asking about clone soil. SORRY, LOL. Doctor has me one some new med's and making me alittle loopy at the end of the day. OK, soil for clones. lol I like to use clear beer keg cups. I like the clear, because it allows you to see the roots being formed and let you know when to transplant. I like to use a organic soil at walmart called Garden safe. I'll try to dig up a picture of my mix. I use nothing else in the mix. It's a lite and fluffy soil and is great. I take cut, dip in clonex. Place in soil and keep a spray bottle with water. I mist the top soil to keep the over all soil from drying out but not wet. It forces the stem to form roots. Let me dig up some pictures. They say more then words and might help. I'll be back in a few. I hope this is help and not getting you confused, because i am right now. lol damn drugs.
Be back

Hey Red, nice to see you around. Sent you a PM, but didn't hear from you. Might have been at another sign. Glad to see you around and I'm very happy your are sharing this plant. Freaked me out when i did a search and came across this thread. Lots of good vibes here. PM me anytime.

Ok, back to some info. I'm going to post a picture of the soil and stuff i use for my soil mix. Its the basic, Blood and Bone meal in little ziplock baggie and some organic soil with perlite. Nothing special, just mix in everything and keep adding perlite till you get the soil the way you want. Add for the measurement amount of meals. I can't remember off of the top of my head, but it's close to BOG's famous soil mix. Second picture was a gift from Capt Crip. Its his famous Super Fruit clone. I know its in a Jiffy #7, but it gives you an idea hope i keep my clones in cups. You can see the roots taking and when to transplant. I only used the Jiffy, because i did tons of cuts and had a cloning tray handy at the time and not enough cups. Notice how the top soil in the cup is just lightly wet and not totally wet. Forces roots alot quicker. Well, i'll let you catch up on the reading and you can get back. Take care the both of you and nice to see you around Red. Now get your butt out in the hills and load the hills iwth OE. lol, jokin
Night,
BG

WOW, plants are looking really good. Looks like alot of resin you got there. Also, the buds look like that are starting to fatten up about now. The last couple of weeks, should be the weeks they put on their weight. I'm guessing and i think Ms.Grat3ful harvested her's at about 63 days or 65. I'll have to check on that one. I'd say they are doing really well for you. What do you think about them so far? OH, what are they smelling like? Any Chocolate smell to them. Ms. G plant had a Chocolate Donut smell to her. Well, looks like they are just Rockin. Awesome job for you and can't wait to see them in anoterh 14 days. Keep up the great work and your going to love this cross. Good stuff for sure.
Take care

The plants are looking nice, great job. The only thing I would suggest is to stop any nitrogen from here on out, if you allready havent. Your plants are very healthy and green, which is good, so just let the plant finish the nitrogen it has stored.....

hey gdw thanks 4 the kind words, the plants have definitly come a long way from the nute burn early on. I dont know about the smell being like chocalate but it is definitly a different smell, not skunky like some but sweeter and scrumptious.. cant wait to dig in.. Im hoping they pack on some more weight these last few weeks I would love to see them just bulging out..The trichs only started coming out in the last week or so and im wondering about that flowering time. they seem like they have a while to go and im wondering if the same strain could produce two different flowing times? like I said from my experience they seem to have alot more time. but Im an outdoor grower(this is my first real indoor grow) and Im not sure how flowering looks indoors, time wise,(if that makes sense) and then again in 2-3 weeks they could just plump up and start to turn, so who knows I guess we shall see. believe me I wont let em get overdone..as for the nitrogen I fed em one last time 2 days ago and from here on I think Ill just give em straight water. Good Idea?? Next grow is outside..some bubbledust, some sour diesal and of course OE. bet they will do even better outside...uh oh red just found out that I raided his bean stash  yeah Im REAL happy with your strain thanks for providing such good genes and the other thing i forgot to mention was that these actually came from a revegged plant so one plant provided us with the nugs you have pictured and then gave us clones to keep her going..Weed is wonderfull.....

peace beddabud..

Thanks for the PM and kind words. Was alittle lost on what plants you was talking about, but i remember now. I'm guessing they really took off on you and really started packing on the major weight. I'm glad your happy with the results so far. Your going to be very happy with the cured buds for sure. Looking forward to those updated pictures. You take care and thanks again for the kind words of support. I can't wait to share these seeds and genes with everyone. The day is getting closer and it will come. I'll make sure of that.

Take care,

day 55

day 55

Here they are at day 55. One got a little nute burn, suprising since i haven't really ferted them in a while, might have been the meal in the transplant soil kicking in.. too much maybe. theyve really put on some weight and im quite happy nute burn or no. The only disappointment is the lifesaver

its covered with crysteal but the bud seems to be really small and not growing together and becoming fatter. The plant itself looks a little weird like somemutant and since the other 2 were hermies Im guessing something went wrong either on my part or in the breeding process. well here they are:

Man bed those girls are just awesome. They look super good for having alittle problem with them. Sorry, to hear about the problems with the others. It happens sometimes and there's nothing you can really do. Glad to see the Oriental Express kicking ass and taking names. I hope your happy with them in the end at harvest time. One quick question. What are the OE smelling like now? Man, your going to be making people PM me even more for these seeds. lol, not to worry. They will be back sometime next spring. I hope and in full swing with many seeds to share. Thanks for sharing your grow with us and the nice pictures. You sure got a nice haul that should keep you happy for awhile.
Take care,
BG
