NEW GROW

Whatever you do, Yhan, please don't take it upon yourself to personally address the beating and shooting deficit that you observed might be the reason for the growing population of rippers.

No amount of growing bud is worth a single day in the pokey over anything violent done to protect a garden. If your site is compromised, cut your losses and walk away to grow another day, somewhere better hidden. Nothing worse that worrying about something irreversible done in the heat of anger, and having to look over one's shoulder from there on out. When you got a kid, it is time to let a few things slide, so you can be there for the bambino, which is after all your most important priority.

Best that you " ain't looking for nobody, with nobody looking for you" to paraphrase the lyrics of that timeless old rock song.

F all this. If a thief comes on my property trying to jack me, he better be prepared to die. That goes for any thief breaking in anywhere. People are allow to defend themselves and property. This passive attitude in a world of thugs is going to get yourself killed. Rather be in the pokey for one night, then dead with all my plants ripped.

The world has really brainwashed people in this department, IMO.

If you are talking of a legal grow in your home, then certainly you are free to defend your home in the eyes of the law, but capping off on rippers out in the woods is not something I personally would consider as a reasonable option.

If you don't mind me asking, is there a specific reason why you would object to simply calling the police, if you spot rippers in your own yard, even though the option of applying deadly force is legally yours ?

my grow partner has been taken by rippers before she is 65 years old and I cant tolerate anybody stealing. we have motion detectors and soon to have a new camera system in sept when shit starts getting real. I'm far from violent, but I'm from Houston, Tx and I promise if anyone jacks us, police better find em before I do.

swamp thing. my partner was hit for an indoor grow by thieves, she called police andf they didn't even come. in this business you gotta handle all aspects solo

I fully understand your philosophy on this subject Yhan, but I would only ever point a firearm at another human being IF I was cornered at home, with no means of escape other than to fight back, Fortunately that hasn't happened yet, and I can thank my junkyard dogs for keeping the peace in that regard.

I have hunted for years to feed myself, but I will always cut and run rather than put myself in a position of having to defend myself with a gun, UNLESS such a situation unfolds while I am home where the hounds are taking fire, and I find that the cops do not respond to my phone calls.

Take extreme care, as we all should, whenever gun-play might be involved, and stay safe, brother.

Wonderful looking grow Nguyen. And yes, FK those bugs! lol.
Did you manage to get a handle on those things?

One good thing about being in Oregon is that it has castle doctrine and doesn't have duty to retreat laws. I am with you on not being ok with being a victim.

Stay safe.
