looking real good Moppel, i specially like the look of the two fighting budahs and the mental floss. i'm most interested to hear that you find watering the bed of earth, from under neath the surface works better. your plants certainly are growing fast lol, you have nearly a hydroponic growth rate in there hey? i find it interesting cause in my slabs, it ends up similar. the water runs down the dripper spike straight to the slab under the cube. the RW cubes are dry at this point with only a slight bit of moisture right around the dripper spike. i was always a bit worried about it, lol. even though i saw that it makes no difference to the plants. still its interesting that it would be the same in a bed of soil.

anyway great grow in a cool setup man

peace:wave:

thanks man, at this point i still water them from the top, because roots dont reach to the bottem yet. The fast growing is because the strains are real good. i used to veg them 4 or 5 days longer (at least), and it looks like these plants are gonne be very big (maybe a bit to long).

today was the last time i feed them from the top. tomorrow they will get water from the bottem to see if the roots already rached down all the way. i sprayed them with neem also again, those f*****ng mites just wont go away. on last pic you can see the canopy is slowly closing. And those hp13's are gonna be huge, there are 11 on a spot where normally are 40 plants. i vegged them for about 4 weeks.

Seems like everything is filling up good. To bad about the mites :badday:

Are you not adding some SSH to your garden ??
What kind of HP13 are you growing, I have read from two versions on the market, like the spannish "original" one and the dutch version wich is crossed with a Haze ...

Also the diameter of your cooltubes looks huge, what is the diameter of those ?

I am taking pictures tonight of my similar but smaller set-up with this drain pipe set-up to start my thread, so you know :joint:

Keep up the good work

Yes, the SSH is rooting 8 days now. I hope that they are rooted tomorrow. About the HP13 i dont know, i have seen the bud from it and it didnt look hazy. And i dont remember the exact diameter from the cooltube.

every thing is looking tip top in there Moppel, shame about the borg.

now that they are still small and have no flowers, why not use some thing stronger then just neem, if you add a few drops of mineral oil, as well as dish washing liquid a few drops, then some ecalyptus oil to the neem you will be rid of them for long enough to finish the grow. mites hate ecalyptus. and you can even eat that spray mix, so its harmless for the plants. or use some thing like vertimec, i have had great success with it as long as the plants have not finished stretching. once they have flowers i hate to spray anything at all. still i spray no further in then the 3rd week of 12/12, normaly by dunking them before planting i avoid having to spray at all.

also love those cool tubes, never realized how nice your cool tube ducting is made. shouldn't surprise me, the whole setup looks well thought out and put together.

thanks gaius, i'll try that ecalyptus. where do they sell that kind of shit. I am not a fan of vertimec, i used it in the past but not anymore.

hey Moppel, the mineral oil is a sticker and extender of the other ingredients, ie eucalyptus oil and neem oil. its best to use a light mineral oil from a pharmacy. the dishwashing liqid is an emulssifier for the oils. the eucalyptus oil is a powerful miticide and the neem oil is a broad spectrum insecticide, as you know. the cool thing about this mix, is that its non toxic.

i think i can use Noburn from bio nova also for that thats what i already do. But i will add the eucalyptus oil.

NoburN is a natural wetting agent based on Yucca-extract (Sarsaponin Schidegera). NoburN lowers the surface-tension of liquids, so that they can penetrate more easy in soil, rockwool, Mapito, coconut and other media. For example, initial soaking of rockwoolslabs used to take 24 hours while with NoburN this only takes only 6 hours. In case of vermin this product is more effectively than other products. While other products usually only leave behind small drops on the leaf, NoburN puts a film on the entire leaf which makes pest control more effectively. When you are applying NoburN to potting soil, you will be able to divide the nutrient solution in the pots or trays much better. Compostion: Yucca Schidegera Extract 95.8 % Depactol 4.0 % Sodium Benzoate 0.1 % Copper Sulfate 0.1 %

Instructions: NoburN can be mixed in with liquid fertilizers or pesticides. After the mixing, some foam may occur, but this dissolves by itself over time
