Does anyone wonder if the silicon coating on parchment paper is part of the contaminate? Scraping rosin off the paper with a razor seems like it could pick up the coating. Thoughts?
Wow that's great! Question, what do you use to get all that kief from the trim? That seemed like a pretty good return!
Agree completely on 25u silkscreen. It seems to trap a lot of the oil. Also seems the better the starting material the better the oil spreads aroundView Image
Been playing around with the rosin tech on some bubble and I'm very impressed with the yield and quality. I've tried three different methods so far:
The picture above is from method 1. Like the rosin tek for flowers, the plant material collects in the middle of the oil pool and is easily picked off. Resulting product is ~90% full melt and has good taste when dabbed on a nail (minimal residue left and little to no burnt taste).
- bubble hash in parchment
- bubble wrapped in 25 ui pressing screen
- bubble wrapped in ~50 ui stainless mesh
Methods 2 & 3 are what was discussed in the last hash church. I found no discernible difference between the products (both dabbed cleanly with no residue and had great taste) but the stainless mesh seems to trap less of the oil and is more easily reused.
Would the best way to turn trim into rosin be turning the trim into bubble hash and then use the rosin tek on the bubble hash?
