that was a skunk found in a flying dutchmen mixed fem 5 pack. shes a pain to veg, but finishes strong at 50 days. very sweet and flora smells. and a great uplifting high!

also got going 6 plants 3000 watts organic put in flower June 6 needs 10 weeks to flower

the flower picks are 2 weeks old you do the math they are geting BIG COLAS

Is a 50w hps good for starting my plants out? just picked one up and dont know if I should stick to flos t8's or t 12's read the lumens and was debating getting a 4 lamp t5 2 foot going to have a small 3 x 3 closet with a top for veg/ starting and bottom for flowering 400w hps on bottom for flowering. need to figure how high top shelf should be and if 50w hps will be good enough also have some 13w panel leds a toss up of lights any suggestions? thanks will clear my mind

gixxie,my area bout the size of yours?+-/anyway i start under 2' t5's then a 90 w led,then 400 hps,,small 3 cab 1 cloz operation???geting your flower room light tight is first,imho?my starts & clones go under a 2' 4 lamp t5 in a 3x3 plenty of light??the ufo works well as my veg light 8 plants 6" pots all healthy...good luck my man..have fun w/it,,cuz when it ain't it sux?????go slow you'll figure it out!!!

Gix.. they'll all work.. the 50 watt hps's main drawback would be the heat it generates.. I run 2 85 watt (real watts.. not equivalent) in my veg area.. I usually have 8 plants in 20 oz cups, then pick the best of the batch and transfer it into my 2 gallon air pots for a couple weeks, then they go into the flower closet.. it's a nice little production line for me.. You'll sort it out in time..

Thanks MGK and archie you let a lot of light on my project thinking my cab be about 3 x 3 x 8 2 section veg and flowering have some 400 watt replacement cfl prob use 2 for my veg/starters/clone and then I will use the 400w hps for my veg / flowering useing prob 4 bubble buckets thinking thing will be good useing house and garden nutzs hope things go well

Either search the forum or the internet as a whole or perhaps maybe ask question in appropriate place, like the new growers area or the like. Apologies if you are not a new grower. This is a regional thread and I guess we can address CO2 safety questions. I have no experience with CO2 in a grow but I would def suggest the use of a regulator of some sort on any pressurized tank.

Did steel fab and erection for a year or so, thats all the experience I have with tanks. (Acetylene/O2)
