New Democrats on minimum sentences for drug crimes

The best way to get pot legalized is to join a party, preferably one that is socially progressive. But a national party, joining the B.C.Marijuana party is a waste of time. Go to all the meetings and network with others in the party who have legalization as an issue, or get a bunch of friends to join too and start putting resolutions for legalization forward at the annual constituency meetings. The Punjabi community in the lower mainland is very good at this tactic, we could learn a lot from them. If you can get the resolution on the agenda for the party as a whole to vote on you might stand a chance of it getting into the party platform. It really raises the profile of pot legalization as being mainstream and not just a fringe issue.

Vote Green.

Their drug policies are not as wishy washy like Layton's and gang.

?
Vote Green?
Can you show proof in any way that voting Green is a good idea?
LOL.
Green is way to small to do shit in parliament.
What could they do if they won a whole 1 seat? LOL.
Leader of Green party has never stated she is pro-pot in any way that I can find.
Why even bother showing up to vote?
Might aswell stay home.
Vote Green, if you want to just throw your vote away.

Liberals cannot make a decisive decision to save their ass.
The proof is their scatter-brained agenda's that don't seem to look at the big picture of our future.
They honestly do not seem to have any agenda, but to take any fly-by-night issue they "think" is going to put them back in the front seat.
And lets face it, Ignatief looked like a real ass a few times already in his short runnings.
Liberals have no backbone.

And well, we all know the Con's, and Harper's private jail con to make him richer for retirement when every other family member you have is in jail for next-to-nothing charges.
Vote Con's if you don't like families.

Jack Layton and the NDP have been pro-pot since Layton was leader.
Hmm, is that what you would call a wishy-washy leader?
Oh, and 100% of all NDP seats that voted on bill C-15 voted against it. not just some. Is that what you would also call a wishy-washy party?
This is not the NDP of decades ago.
The current NDP has a strong leader, and many prestigious colleagues to back him up with facts.
The last couple of elections have been weird.
Nobody cared, or payed attention to the parties agenda, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, nobody payed attention to how well the party is informed and prepared to get their agenda done.
Seems people get caught up in emotion of their vote, and not the facts.
Vote NDP if you want to see a party that will be 100% prepared for the next election, have done their homework, and know what they are also talking about with their agenda, and the possible outcomes it can have.

Now, in the end, I wish all to vote for who they want.
But I will say again..........
"MORE IMPORTANTLY, nobody payed attention to how well the party is informed and prepared to get their agenda done."

I encourage all to make sure their party has done their own homework next time around.
Don't be affraid to ask the hard questions.
I find my local NDP loves them, but my local Con does not.
That will also help tell you which way to roll.
