I hurt all over.

I hurt all over.

Greetings

I hope all are well.

Its weird but where they cut out the tumor hurts bad today...but I hardly felt anything yesterday.

WOW those are some seeds I wish I had!

I am doing fine just a little out of it...here are some photos of Bogglegum phenotype 9 after drying....it is very dense but not as dense as pheno 2 usually is, I think this had more to do with being slightly shaded by the large Thai plants.

But I am pleased to see a marked increase in production and yield, and quality compared to control specimens.

trial of nutrients etc..

trial of nutrients etc..

Notes for the Outdoor Test Facility.

have not been to OTF in over a week for health issues.

instructions given and nutrients hiked in about a week ago.

new levels of bloom and finishing fertilizers being distributed.

have increased levels of various experimental carbohydrates, kelp , .

using a special formula after researching and experimenting for years to find the most effective best levels and ingredients.

plants treated with it are producing about 150% more flower weight and flowers of a density that loses very little weight when dry.

I believe with this formula that these genetics have absolutley maxxed out their potential.

the only and most important change to be made would have been :

A: Earlier deployment in outdoor environment, by at least 1 to 2 months.

B: Implemenatation of fertilizer injector from the 3rd week outside until only a few weeks from ending.

this would make the most significant delta to this type of crop.

i cant imagine what the yield would be with this ONE improvement.

the biggest and most important improvement would simply be a partner who is FULLY onboard with my ideas and would do what they need to do.

having implemented my plan how and when i had mapped out this grow would have increased overall yield out of all reckoning.

as it is, with being able to be present almost every week this years yield and quality has improved at least 100%.

.#####################

nutrient trial with all hybrids.

started at 1/4 doses of all nutes in june.

slow ramp to full or over in july, maintaining that w/ adds of GRV/PMX bone meal, blood, 3 types of guano.

kelp/molass/beet sugar/silica/bone paste at massive uptake dose at one week intervals.

silica was ramped to highest ever doses, this added a tensile strength i have never observed prior, almosy NO tieing was needed even with hybrids i have never been able to grow naturally.

tensile msut have improved over 100 percent,
very difficult to cut specimens larger than 3 inches at base.

bushmaster stopped most verts w 3 apps in 3 weeks.

also speeded up flower production by weeks.

hormone doses to decrease branch and node entirly successful even with SB w/o topping.

pmx added trichome weight even on hybrids not known for excessive resin production.

to a dangerous degree, w/o fans it will be hard to control mold on flowers that packed with resinous material.

example: after 3 DOSES of H3X, PMX,K/BTS.

Last major nutrient cycle delivered in 30 gallons of staright 'juice' and blooms a, and b,

flowers can no longer produce any more weight.

project on all but Chocolate Elephant Thai and some Sweet Tooth 1.1 is complete.

Beautiful plants Mr. southwind. Your growing skills are very apparent. How, with your medical conditions, will you ever manage trimming all that bush? That's a lot of Mj right there. Perhaps you could get some of that to a few med clubs in your area. I'm sure when they see your abilities here, they will have no problem snapping up all them juicy girls. Good luck.

life or lack of one

life or lack of one

Well as a coincidence...most of the big stuff is already going for my partner...I am taking only enough for my personal needs and some sick friends in my area..I never sell it and have no want to get involved with that at all.

any profit my partner may make goes to support my parents, in the last months they have gotten to the point that there is no way they can live at home any more..
I never talk about this on here, but my Dad is 96 and my Mom in her eighties, they themselves both ended up in the hospital this week, JUST LIKE ME!!

They have to go into a nursing hom RIGHT NOW, there is no more goofing around with that.

when I am well enough to travel I am going back there [mid-west] to help them get rid of their stuff and help them pack up.

any money at all from the project goes to support them, my 2 brothers have been carrying the whole load since I got sick and its time they have some financial relief.

Plus my housemate cant carry ALL my expenses indefinitley..she has been doing that for a few years now, but at least I take care of of her and the house[plumbing, garden, cleaning, laundry, cooking, home repair etc] becuase SHE is COMPLETELY DISABLED.

so I owe her some cash for input on housing expenses and for ehlping me when the car blew up.

I am going to have to go back there anyway to help them as much as I can in their last years.

my partner is the only one who has connects to med clubs to get rid of it that way..or really ANY WAY.

I dont sell, and absolutley do not need the stress of it with my health as bad as it is, I am stressed enough as it is.

its going to cost us [brothers] a few thousand a month to take care of mom and dad now.

Since my health crashed I have not been able to send them the 700 hundred a month we all used to pool together[ 4 of us] we did it for awhile but now another brother is in bad straights and cant do it anymore...so its just the 3 of us.

So ..though it may look like I have quite a stash...OVER half is for the partner as its HIS grow space...and the rest if I can do ANYTHING with it at all...will get eaten up by thenursing home pretty fast.

remember I have not had ANY INCOME for several YEARS...so any money i get from ANY source is already very very spoken for.

not to mention over 250, 000 dollars in medical bills.

to tell the truth i have not spent a penny on 'recreation' on about 4 years...

so i have a great life

Hi SouthWind....

Hi SouthWind....

Hi My Friend SW~

Just know that I am thinking of you and sending you the very best energy I can---you are such a gentle soul. And I hope you take that as a compliment, as that is how I mean it.
If only 3/4 of the world were as kind as you.... what a lovely world this would be.

Haven't sent pics as I am terrible with the camera, but as soon as I can talk my partner into taking a few I will send them to you.
One of my SB is taking off like a monster! A couple of the LS are looking quite nice also. Then there are some that just runted out on me but I'm still giving them loving care and hoping for the best.

Bat guano is a wonderful thing, especially mixed with bonemeal(water soluable).

Take very good care of yourself. Remember you are loved by many.
Bright Blessings as always,
Bruja

I have high expectations of my own work so I am almost NEVER satisfied.

I hope all who read this have an abundance of love, peace and a true abiding contentment in your lives.

No BS, the Buds look Dank, and quite heafty SouthWind,
IMO keep doin what you're Doing, It's Freaking working...
The Bluberry Purfume Aromas you are catchin wiffs of , i have only had the luck to experience that few times and the strains almost always didn't have a name, But one I can remember was Purple #1 From DP, that stuff has a very strong purfumey Aroma to it I loved it
Those plants you have holding have some huge colas on them, they look very dense almost like if they Dry they won't lose much of their weight, i have seen that happen before, Dense Dense buds man

Beautiful Fall colors too really makes me wanna just chop it up and put it in my salad bowl like RIGHT NOW!

FINE JOB INDEED BRO, JUST JUICY, AND DANK

Do you the mode of action of silica? Its not available for uptake is it?

I sure could use a little more stem strength.... With some of the hurricane reminant winds and flooding we got this year, most of the plants had to be staked up....

Hello Pipeline!

I am always happy and uplifted when you stop by...

The silica idea was from some work I did with Sorghum cane a few years ago...it of course is a lanky plant and gets knocked down easily..well after reseraching some work a few botanists in the South West were doing I hit on the silica response in plants.

When I combine silica with alot of cytokinins from kelp and carbohydrates for the flora and fauna at root level it QUITE LITERALLY strengthens the cells walls and fiber/tensile of most if not all plants.
It is an art to get that silica used right.

In a side by side on Sorghum and Cannabis Sativa I had a delta of over 90% higher tensile capacity and stem strength to weight carried.

Translated that means that C.Sativa's that I would normally have to tie up heavily ,in lets say August, I am not having to tie at all or only tie a few of the largest branches and in sorghum they withstood even moderately high wind w/o collapse ..even with seed set.

There is still tieing involved but nowhere near as much and also on C.Indica dominants [even with high bud weight[ needed NO tieing..

If you look here this bud needed no tieing and weighed in at over 5 ounces..

without silica and the RIGHT fert blend to USE IT these used to topple.

My Afghan is from some seeds gathered in [actually] Aghanistan by a military man in the 80's.

It was an area that has been farmed for many centuries and the people there are familiar with the man who got them, as he has been in the position to do them favors during some hard times there.

These seeds have remained in that family for at least 5 generations tha they speak of.

So I am pleased and honored to be able to try my hand with some untouched genes [untouched by modern breeding practices] just like theThais I am growing now.

It has been my goal to PRESERVE these untouched true Cannabis Indica and Cannabis Sativa for the potential gold mine of phenotypes available there.

Silica, SW, i use silica and It is the Dynagro Brand "Pro-Tek" , I use it my self , but afet reading your last post i am wondering if I am even using it right..

On the bottle it says to use a 1/4 teaspoon per Gallon every watering, and I do that..
I see you use it in conjunction with other Ferts or ( cytokinins from kelp and carbohydrates )
What kind of products or companies should I be looking for?
And what kind of Silica brand are you using,( brand)

And for a Somewhat large indoor grow, at what rates and how often would you use these Products

Your Help is appreciated.....
BTW that land race Afghani is very interesting, i hope you make seeds of that shit, It seriously looks DANK, DANKETTY DANK DANK
