hey gettogro do you have any issues with plants falling over because of the weight? I am growing in soil but I am using the same fencing as you. I keep getting huge buds but they just fall over and I have to crawl through my room and tie shit up. I did grab some bushmaster to help the stretch. You have any secrets to help hold up the weight?

Thanks for the encouragement guys,

So, I have been battling low humidity in the room. With 65 watts per sq ft of bare bulbs keeping the humidity up is a challenge. I got a industrial ultrasonic fogger system from Mainland mart I think that this is the ticket. I had 3 essick whole house humidifiers in there and they wouldnt get above 50% rh. With the fogger setup I am using a 44 gallon Brute raised off the floor about a foot outside the flower room feeding the fogger. I am also recycling the drain water from the 2 a/c's and the 2 de humidifiers. All of the drain lines are conected to a pvc pipe that runs around the room and fills a 10 gallon walmart tote (of course) a small mag drive pump then takes all the water form the a/c's (day) and dehumidifiers (night) and pumps it back up into the fogger's Brute res. I am using a digital recycle timer (ebay) to do this. It turns on the pump for 30 seconds every hour.

I just flipped them ant Ill have all the lights full blast tomorow so we'll see if the fogger will cut it. Plant size at flip are from 40" to 50" considerably larger than last time..

I have to tie the branches to the cages as well. Sometimes ill use trellis netting along with the cages...

Beautiful work as always Getto, wish I could swap you my high humidity for a doob of that wifi... I've yet to try that cut. can we get a couple of shots of the naked nugs please?

I was reading the beginnings of the growing large plants outdoor thread and it made me wonder if there might be any advantage in wider, more shallow totes like the wide shallow smartpots they use outdoors. what do you think? are the totes you are in now the biggest you have used?

I agree that you have the sweetest indoor rooms going homie! keep them monsters coming.

Chunky - Tom taught me about shallower, wider pots some years back. I have seen first hand the difference in growth that the pot dimensions being used can make. I'm also very curious to know if it would have the same effect in hydro.

Ghetto - Did you notice any difference in growth structure between plants grown in the brute garbage cans vs. the totes?

Can you tell us much more about the weight difference between the plants that had bushmaster used on them?

I've only ever heard bad things about Paclo, But after seeing your grow, I have to ask why...

Might even be interested in trying some out myself next run

I added another smaller DIY fogger and a essick whole house wick humidifier. I can get the humidity up to 65% with all the lights full blast. The plants defiantly are drinking less water with the humidity up. Last run I couldn't get it over 20% with the lights on. They are all hooked together with float valves up to the 44 gallon res outside the room that recycles the A/C and dehumidifier run off. Ill run it about 65 first 4 weeks and dial it back to 50% last 4 weeks.. I'm happy with the setup now.
