I have a buddy that I've been drinking beer and wine and smoking with for over 30 years. And we discuss flavors a lot. So often there is a language barrier to break down when discussing a complex flavor. It's easy to agree on if something is sweet or berry. But some flavors hit people differently and we all use words differently. It would be nice to smoke with all of the haze heads and discuss words and flavors and effect while sharing the flowers we are discussing.
I think thar would be a great way to clear up the language part. You guys will be arguing lineage forever so I have no solution for that.

i like this summary by nev of his line and older hazes. these 2 old haze lines are a match made in heaven. both still hold early gen freaky types but take different approaches to breeding which compliment each other.
nevs line was intentionally limited in filial generations which allowed saving nearly all of the desirable traits you look for in a haze line. male cannabis plants cant be discounted because they have the ability to create heterogenous ploidity pollen grains which carry altered chromosome counts. this is why freaks get passed down at a higher rate in nevs plants especially haze A selfed progeny.
tom on the other hand encouraged recombination but included only the most resinated/desirable selections. this seems to have created a a'bottleneck of quality" . using various mixed pollen/filial gens tom has pulled out come amazing throwbacks.

Notice there are phenos completely non present on straight 69 haze like purple. Can't expect to capture all the genes in couple males

there is no fight. only trolling. it is clear that nevilles haze is colombian gold dom, with occasional occur of punto rojo phenos and very rare thai phenos. but you will use incense, people will get confused. when you mix positronics, it get more thai and not colombian dom haze line which is incensy and not hybrid of it to be loud frankies.
thats why I would stop declining nevilles in circles and focus on what positronics made with it...

My NH keeper I had >20 years ago smelled like lemons while it was growing and turned gold within a week of hanging, what pheno might it have been? I haven’t heard NH described as citrusy. It was a potent rollercoaster high with some paranoia and strong laughing effect at times. I’ve always hoped to find it or better since I lost her.
Something you posted recently about tolerance made me think about how faulty memories are - I remember the potency of the high from this NH and all the good things. It was my introduction to this type of effect which I did not find in SSH or JH . After your post I also remembered that after a while of smoking every day this pheno could not get you high enough - even though visitors would be completely twisted. Reminiscence seems to cull the negative memories.

This not knowing what haze is about is why I started a bunch of thh/posi and oh. I have enjoyed haze in hybrids for a long time. And never actually know how what I'm smoking compares to a pure haze. Still not sure I'll find a true 5% but I have plenty more opportunities and now I'll know if what I'm smoking or breeding with is better than what I started with or how it compares.
Definitely looking forward to try some of your at some point.
