This is the one "big bud" plant I found in the Nevs Blueberry x Lucy's I flipped as a fair sized clone about 25 days ago. She actually turned out to be the strongest of the 4 female Lucy crosses I ran. Somehow I just figured that since she threw tops like 2 liter bottles that she wouldn't have the "hammer" I would be looking for in a clone I would keep. Since I didn't want any arm sized colas I cut every tip and knuckled every branch until I couldn't find another spot to knuckle.
I'll have to admit, she's looking good tonight. Today I'll throw another bare 600 behind her as the bathroom's white tiled walls are dynamic for tossing light around. She's in 10 gal of 50/50 rock/coco mix with a modified Lucas formula on drip.:tiphat: She has a great floral blueberry/hazy/OG smell if there is such a thing...

Received a text from my friend in Puerto Rico last night around 7pm telling me his power just came back on after 87 days and he lives right in downtown San Juan. Could you imagine any of us in this situation, the indoor folks especially? He's a federal defense attorney, my attorney as well, and his federal office building still has no power. The federal prison has no power so all the inmates were shipped off to the states long ago so he's been working private cases to keep going at another office someplace. 87 days! People around here would be eating each other by then...:)
My seed plants are cranking in the hugo blocks down in my veg. This is the boring side of the process photo wise but it must be done...never mind that ugly leaf on the right. That plant's been in a beer cup for 70 days or something. Can't muster the nerve to throw her to the compost bin.:)

No, I figured if I found so many good plants from 4 females that there must be some that are better in the other 1000 seeds I have. Not that this one is the Holy Grail or anything but it's a good one for a hillbilly such as myself, the "Creep in the Cellar" so to speak...:)

Me too. I hadn't run much sour over the last year and that batch in rockwool came out so well that I just flipped 4 big sours hoping for some of that winter grown semi purple/perfect sour. Can't find my camera. We cut a beautiful Sour Grape yesterday and another one's coming down today. was hoping I'd find my camera because she has some tops that are stellar. It was one of those runs with the grape where you can really see the Nevils in the shape of the flowers.
That big Nevs Blueberry x Lucy is doing really well and branches are already starting to fall over at day 30 ish. This thing really loads up. May have to attempt to throw a net over her or use a mile of green wire to hold her up.:)

Found my camera in a box of toys by the computer yesterday, buried in a pile of light sabers from the distant past. The big Nevils Blueberry x Lucy in my back room is looking great. It's a bit cold back there at night but so far she doesn't mind. One of the smaller branches that fell over cracked the stem and died off but there's plenty more.:)

Forgot I had this Glueberry going. She looks great as usual and smells mostly like a blueberry more than anything. This one's not going to break any records but I'll most likely keep it for myself as the smoke suits me perfectly.
Not much else happening in flower right now. Most of the plants are a good month or two out but my veg is on fire with new plants from seed so we're hopeful.

The Nevils Blueberry x Lucy has branches just blowing up over the last few days. I couldn't resist throwing this photo up from this afternoon at lights out.:)

She went in around Nov 1st so 6 weeks give or take a few days for operator error. The last one finished at 10 weeks so I'm hoping for a January 10th finish and no bud rot. Despite clipping every top and knuckling every branch she still ended up shooting tops up everywhere.
My Sour Nevs F2's are really just about too big for the veg so I'm hoping to bring them up today and flip them. This time I'm taking cuts from every one because last time I lost some really nice ones. I actually didn't know what to expect from the F2's but had 6 great females out of 6. Nothing that would turn the cannabis world on it's ear but great for me.
My Sour Grape plants came out fabulous, about as good as they could have. I was trimming a bit yesterday and was so stoked I took some pics but they're all hps pics. I would have taken some flowers inside with natural light but the wife was home and to her there isn't anything much dumber than taking a picture of a bud...:)

This was part of my tray yesterday. It doesn't look like much but the smell and quality are spot on. These grapes love the winter just like the sour mom.

That made me laugh for a few minutes :)

The only thing "dumber" is when you shut off the lights to get a good shot with the flash in the dark. "Why did you just shut the lights off?" Me: "To get a good pic", Wife : Whaa!!!

the nev blue lucy is sick.
that's just the best bag appeal and frost that I've seen on the East Coast and effects and taste are really nice too.
whoever is smoking this has to be very stoked, I napped hard after this and the other.

Nice Chunky! Both of those are fun plants to run and come out really nice. The Sour Grape can go toe to toe with just about anything for stink.
My giant Nevs/Lucy in the back is teetering on wires at this point. I was tying up a branch yesterday morning and you could feel the weight of the whole plant just dying to fall over. She could never stand by her self. I think it's about 17 F right now and windy. The remote thermometer said 65 on the container so not too bad considering it's a back room with no direct heat.
Well it's winter now, snow and all. I'm freezing my ass off in this chair by the north side of the house. When the winter wind blows here, it blows the heat to the other side of the room. Ate a canna caramel yesterday morning combo'd with a few puffs from Chunky and I'm still all fuzzed out. I never wake up this late...:)

I may have to give that one another test, maybe I was smoking something else...:) Chunky left me with two big joints and I started puffing on one of them when I was trimming yesterday and lemme tell ya', that trim session didn't last long, I set the tray down and started tweeking some plants that hadn't been tied back or knuckled over yet. Then I just went out to the wood pile and chopped for a few hours to keep myself standing.. Whatever that joint was, it was strong. I never smoke a whole joint, just a few puffs is all I normally take.
Not sure where my camera is again either. I wanted to take a picture of the big Kosher Kush I have going while the lights were still out. Going to have to lay off those caramels for a few days. Just the right amount puts a spring in your step, too much and you're over.
Totally windy and freezing again, snow all over the place. I added a space heater and I've been running my humidifier 24/7. My shop is a fairly old building and when the wind is ripping it isn't easy to distribute the heat evenly. The Sour Nevils F2's are taking over my veg room so one way or another I'm going to have to bring them up to the flower room today. Last year I flipped them at 6" but now they're 2'. They ended up finishing off at between 5 & 7' last year so maybe taking cuts is a better option because my space is near full already.:)
