nice report negus... glad you enjoy the polm, it has a great up high, definetly ! Did yours would smell really fruity/bubble gum ?

Just sad to see people selling hash for indecent prices. they buy it 200$ a kg and sell give you 5-6g for 20$, come on... Price for pollen in Kathmandu should be around 15g for 10$ and it is not that hard to bargain at this price.

Hand rubbed hash from pokhara ? not laced ? Except if you have a strong knowledge in hash, you won't ever be able to detect what they use to lace the stuff.

I have met a shitload of ppl that would smoke stuff i wouldn't even touch, and some of them had a basic knowledge in herb and hash. 90% of the black hash is laced in cities, and if you don't know some ppl it's like 97%. It is even in the countryside.
In six months, I have come across two batches of black that I'm sure were pure. Both come from contacts that has been made a while ago.
Pokhara dealers are particularly fucked up by harder drugs as well...

Stick to the pollen and the buds, and you'll definetly have the blast of your life !

Most of the good black hash is exported.

I tried to track down some but no luck in it, also i was not there during the season.

I gathered as much info as I could, and was told this is available if you're ready to buy a Kg for around 4000$. No less than a kg, it's not possible.

I have come along some correct black hash twice, that seemed pure and bubbled a bit. It was really really nice and strong, but this was probably second quality. And i've seen 100's of different black ones (anytime i would see hash I'ld ask to have a look).

It seems that because most people coming have quite a light knowledge in Hash, they all get ripped of by poor quality/laced stuff, and now that is all what's available.
Even when I come along some nice pollen, there was a higher quality that was only available if you were ready to wait, knew where to ask, and get like a kg at least (mmm for 200$ seemed a fair price, still).

But most people will be more than happy to smoke the shit. I was not, that is why I kept doing some oil and waterhash. But there is definitely decent stuff around, especially in pollen and ganja, that is worth the trip. I'm a particular smoker, very very picky, that's why I'm telling you that you're not gonna find the one easily. Most people would say they found it, it's cause they don't know the real deal !

If you are going to Nepal you can ask me, I'll point you to some directions where to find THE goods, that you can already find in my Nepal thread. Pollen is the trick :)

nepal question

yeah titoon the pollen had a fruity smell and flavour
when i was trekking and found some plants growing i rubbed them
and the smell was almost the same but the plants where veryyy sticky.

thanx for info on the pollen i had in mind your trip advice when i was there looking for hash.

to tell you the truth when i saw the pollen in the bag it didnt look good for me, am used to visualy cleaner polms from lebanon, although there quality these days is not as good as the nepalese in looks is better.
i think because the art of doing sieved hash is new in nepal all the qualities of resin are mixed together, and also with plant material. The reason that nepal polm is still good is because the quality of the nepalese ganja is so good that hash is still nice.

now the hand rubbed was clean from what i think, maybe it was laced and i couldt realise it, the one i got from pokhara i got it
from a young guy near busy bee, he was selling weed and mushrooms and didnt mention anything about hash when i asked him he said he only got a piece about 3gs, it was soft enough
to strech around, like good indian charas no dirt inside and was brown creamy when opened, when burned did have any weird smell actually was a nice reach aroma, because it was very soft
i though it might have small quantity of henna but when we reach 2000m it became very hard and shiny on the surface.

what am going to try and find when i will visit nepal again is
something that i have tried in amsterdam from amnesia coffeeshop
in 2008 (17eu a g), it was nepalease sieved but of a very good quality, brown in color like the marocans, very soft to bend and when pressed for very little it was formed into a black oily ball,
the taste was full sweet and very deep the buzz so unique
i will never forget. no other stuff has that taste and buzz than
good nepalese hash. that sample i think was made by foreigners
in nepal than locals, when locals get more expirience in doing sieved hash they will be able to produce hash that will put in shame other kinds. i hope though no forgein seeds find there way up there cause it will fuck the genes and hash.

titoon did you came across first sieved nepalese hash other
than the one you made?

yeah i hear you man most ppl dont know wtf theyre talking about.
i value your opinion more than that so thats quite a letdown for me. was hoping to smoke tons of that temple balls i used to get back in the day. makes sense that its all for export i think its still around in places like amsterdam. i wish i could get me a kilo of this for nighttime smoking hehe.

your hash thread was great!

Hanuman you were quite unlucky...

I've spent a lot of time with heavy smokers, and never heard any bust story there...

Well, all this happened one or two days before the Dasain festival, one of the main Nepalese religious festivals, for which each family must sacrifice an animal to the gods, namely Kali, if I'm not mistaken (usually by chopping its head off with a kukhri).

Obviously, a goat, or even a buffalo is quite expensive and a bit of unexpected extra money (shit, 1100 rupees..) was more than welcome for the local cop. To this day, I still think he either saw me smoking chillum after chillum openly the night before, or he was tipped, and he deliberately followed me the next morning, knowing he'd find an occasion to bust me, which he did.

As for not finding any "good" black hash titoon, I already said that in your thread, but I definitely think that's because you weren't there at the right season.

Hey there guy, ended up going to china and the phillipines instead and was thinking about goon to Nepal in late march or early Apri, and was wondering if any one was there around this time before? I ask because I was wondering if it is still easy to find bud and hash? Or is most of the winters crop gone, or sold now? Still on the hunt for seeds so I am hoping to find some nice Nepali genetics. Also how's the weather around this time?
Anyways thanks for your previous reply and any additional help to

:) thank you

ah so during the summer its monsoon season...

I read on a site
Travel Tips: Monsoon in Nepal is not the typical monsoon of Asia. Rains usually occur during the night-time leaving the sky clean and clear by the morning making the Himalayan view even more dramatic. Some parts of the Himalayas in Manang, Mustang and Dolpo are in rain-shadow areas; the mountains are high enough to block the clouds. Tibet's high travel season also corresponds to Nepal's monsoon.
how do other months look in nepal

I have off from school around 15th of may till 1st september

and dec 17th to january 10-12th

I would like to go trek

also i am curious about rebels

Hashish of high quality can easily be found in Nepal. The black is all completely fucked over for some reason and mixed to bits but some of the polms they have are really something special. Everyone offers temple balls or charas but its muck. I just got back in January after 3 months of heaven and only once or twice did I smoke black that was even remotely decent. Stick to the Polm for quality. The Nepalese people dont actually like to smoke hash, they reckon it gets them too monged out. They have little interest in it so dont really appreciate the different tastes and qualities. Now the WEED, thats a different story. The lads I met just loved smoking weed.....I mean lots of weed...one after the other. They were from Pokhara but they went once a week into the surrounding villages to source their produce. First time I met the lads was on the way up Sarangot..stopped off for a spliff break and sat beside some young nepali lads..Started chattin and they asked what i was smoking.....Polm I told them and broke off a piece for them to skin up... we smoke weed here he said to me as he handed over a little baggie of about 7 grams..maybe you can roll one of these ..lovely stuff i said. The baggie was swiftly opened and the smell that came out and streamed up me nostrils was just sublime. Stunk like something straight outta a top shelf haze menu in Amsterdam. Fruity and nasel hair burning stuff. It was really bright lime green and fluffy structured but sticky and pongy as fuck. Lovely. The spliff I rolled tasted exactly right. Full of the natural himalayan flavours I was hoping for. Can I buy some off you guys I asked while sucking down hungry lungfuls of stinky goodness? We're not dealers he said, but we can give you a bit. Lovely we can do a swap so.. He turned to another mate and asked him to come over. Santosh was carring a computer bag. He unzipped the top and it was then I realised there was no computer in it. Buds of all sizes pushed their way upwards towards the light, catching glints from thousands of tiny tricromes ....i nearly had an erection........Holy fuck..How much weed do you guys have in there? Looked to me like about a half kilo or maybe more..Now I have that erection. Fuck. We got that yeaterday from a village a half hour away....Its just for us and our friends...here, hold out your hands.....Now I have pretty big hands but with all that weed spilling into them, i could have done with bigger. Said thanks, finished a spliff, swapped numbers and got back on my bike a lot more stoned than earlier.. The lads had given me about an ounce and also a great afternoon of laughing and joking. Brought them all out a few nights later for a few Rums and a few Everest beers. Good lads.

very nice story

how is it with the police if you get caught with a bit of hash or weed ?

can you face jail

I know people say you can bribe them, but I mean worst case scenario..

I am planning to go to nepal in 2012, at the end of summer (whole month of august)

I would appreciate any tips/info one could share with me

Yeah id like to know the deal if you do get caught with personal a few grammes whatever. are you gonna do bird like?

depends on situation. In case of regular check-up you might get off with some tip. If you are caught at airport or roadblocks where they are looking for dealers you might do some bird time.
