@Kalbhairav a very vigorous high yielding purple Nepal Jam male was used in latest regular reproduction, pollinating a wide variety of females from different advanced lines, mostly Nepalese expressions, but also bigger, higher yielding greener Jamaican leaning ones, so yes, they can be found.

@Cactus Squatter Nepal Jam deals well with high temps, but likes moisture too.
For desert, i would recommend other type of genetics such as Bubba Kush x PCK, ErdPurt, ErdPurt x PCK, Lebanese, Moroccan Beldia, Beldia x Morocco, Afghani landraces, ....
Almost forgot about this. 😂 So I ended up running one of these outdoors that year at a friend’s place . It did ok but had a really small yield compared to when I’ve run them indoors. It made a bunch of really hard little fingertip sized buds.

Hola Amigos!!...
New member with my attempt at a Nepal Jam... Alchimia was where I found the beans...if anyone would like to offer tips or some things to look for. Ive never used this 'bank' before...have read it is the largest from Spain...so far- looking strong.
Anyhow...Ive been looking forward to this...it's a perfect strain for outdoor and will get to that planting later....but first let's try her under lights.
Today is now day 13...healthy. I'm growing this gem along side a couple Malawi golds and a Zamaldelica under 13/11 for the next 3-4 weeks...before a gradual decrease to 12/12. I think I'm just going to let this one grow without any pruning.

Hi @Audphello welcome to this room and thank you so much for your support :)

Are you growing the regular or feminized versions of Nepal Jam, Malawi and Zamaldelica ?
If you grow them under 13/11 photoperiod from seed they will start to flower small as soon as they reach sexual maturity. Don't you prefer to provide longer growth periods ?

Thanks Dubi!
The Nepal Jam and Zamaldelica are feminized…21 days from seed is the Zamaldelica at 13/11 on/off and the NJ is 14 days from seed at 13/11.
The Malawi is regular.. but from The RSC- afropips Malawi.
I wasn’t going to do NJ indoors but a Burmese I tried germinating dud’s out so I replaced that with Nepal. I intend to veg for another month at 13/11 and transfer to their final pots in a 3 weeks. Just trying to maximize growth all the while utilizing as much energy as needed. DLI appears to be spot on.
I guess I’m trying to replicate Malawi’s sun exposure. They don’t get much more than 13:45 mins at their height so… these should grow according to the plan.
Any thoughts Dubi?

Hi @Audphello first thing that comes to my mind is that both Nepal Jam and Zamaldelica will start flowering if you veg them under 13/11 photoperiod.

Thanks @dubi

I’ve taken the Nepal jam out of the pic… focusing on the Zamaldelica for this grow

Having grown a single Zamaldelica x Kali China plant from a fem seed on my previous grow, I'm now running a single Nepal Jam plant, again from a fem seed. It's being grown in a 8.5 litre pot, using c.70% coco and 30% perlite, using Beanstalk crf pellets for feed, in a one pot autopot set up. She's in a little 2x2x4 tent, scrogged. Everything has been very straightforward so far: I grew the zxKC in a 15l autopot pot, which made things a bit harder to handle, so the step down in pot size is seeming like the right move. The light was flipped to 12/12 after about 38 days from putting the sprout into a rooting cube; she started showing preflowers at about 5 weeks. Here she is earlier this morning, at 35 days since flip:

Thanks for giving a try to Nepal Jam fem @Billowin'smoke after your Zamaldelica x Kali China grow :)
Your Nepal Jam fem looks very healthy and well developed after 35 days of flowering
Looks like you got a fast flowering, moderate yielding expression.

Cheers @dubi - I just need to steer her into harbour now, which will be made easier by the fact she's a fast flowerer. She's been another pleasure to grow - thank you for the lovely genetics! I'll share some further snaps as she nears completion 👍

Quite different from each other. Our strains descriptions are accurate, please read them.
I have studied your descriptions more than a few times. Have read many smoke reports on both strains as well, but I always like when two strains are compared as opposed to reading about them individually. Even if its apples to oranges.
