Some of those plants could use a good blast of nitrogen.
I've been getting a lot of rain here as well. Managed to drown a few already.
Let's hope for some hot dry weather in the fall when it's even more important.
Thanks for pointing that out GG, and yeah, they are definitely hungry for more N - I think I may have forgotten to amend my potting mix with a good N source, and the compost I bought this year seems very poor.
It should be taken care of in most cases (if not all) since the plants in beds/holes got half a big bag of rotted manure, and those in containers have soil amended with high N guano. Anything that still isn't looking better in a week or two will get hit with a dose of nettle tea.
Sorry to hear you already have fatalities. Hope you still have enough for a reasonable harvest. As you say, more important that we get a dry finish!
I gave in and chopped a couple of autos that were starting to get some bud rot. They were 100% milky trichs so near enough done, and it seems like ages since I smoked any bud. Quite a nice stink to them too
Still mostly going, but I've had a lot going on in the last few weeks, so not much time for updates. Most are doing well although a couple of BFs in tubs that are about 1/4 of the way into flower are very yellow despite me top dressing with high N bat guano. I guess I should keep giving them more, and perhaps a bit of blood meal too? Never had a plant this yellow that was this far into flower!
The Mighty Mites were harvested a few weeks back and some seeds harvested, although almost just as many had germed whilst still on the plant which was quite annoying. Going to have to be more cautious in future when it's this wet!
Got a few shots around a month back which I'll try to post soon.
Be careful when applying nitrogen in flower or just before flower. It can delay flowering and cause fluffy buds.
I like to see yellow leaves when they are flowering, just not in veg, Looking forward to an update when you get a chance.
Yeah, a few yellowing leaves during flower is ok, but this was the whole plant going yellow, and only 1/4 of the way into flower. Hopefully I didn't overdo it but I gave them some nettle tea and bat guano the other night.
Some pics from 23 Aug, before they had become very yellow:
