I will check for pests right away. One of my outdoor potted plants has spider mites that could’ve been tracked in. I will use some neem possibly or my houseplant and garden insect killer

Can I just bomb the tent?

I see some rasps on the leaves that resemble the damage from Thrips. Could be Spider Mites. I suspect bugs may be slowing their growth rate and stunting their overall health. Inspect your leaves, especially the older lower growth for signs of pests.
Sprayed all plants on top of leaves and below with a quarter concentrated spray of neem. I also used a little garden pyrethrin spray. Dimmed the overhead lights to 5% and will turn back on at full power in 2.5 hours once the spray dries.

I could not identify any pests when closely inspecting the Leaves and underside of leaves. I’ve seen two fungus gnats and laid yellow traps on topsoil not a single gnat caught in it. If I had pests before what I just sprayed I won’t for very long after. Bought a couple bombers just in case I’m ok using them if in early veg primarily

That EC seems High to me for an initial watering in. Doubt it will hurt but be mindful of the potential for a slow steady build-up that can make the soil lock out nutrients. Alternate with plain water or extremely weakened nutrient amounts. Also, misting the entire plant with plain water (Rain, Bottled, or Filtered) can greatly reduce stress during times of adversity in Veg.

Seeing sticky traps, I'll recommend Bacillus Thuringiensis var. israelensis (or BTi) as your cure for Fungus Gnats and other soil borne pests. If it's available in your location.

Good Luck, they'll bounce back!

How do you treat something like spider mites on a flowering plant? Ideally; totally organically ?

And yes I shouldn’t have had such a high ec on an initial watering in fr wh fertile organically fertilized soil. They just need ph corrected and proper ec water for a while

Spider Mites are tough. They're often called The Borg around here. You really want to put the final nails in their coffin before Flowering. If they're suspected or known to be present, treat aggressively. Their lifecycle is quick. New generations can hatch every 48-72 hours, they breed at an Exponential rate. Treat again in 2 days, and remove any old scraggly lower leaves to limit hiding places from which they can mount a resurgence.

Please throw the rest of your neem away or use it on ornamental plants in the yard. Cannabis holds on to the azadirachtin molecule for months (yes, it's still in there at harvest time after 2+ months) and causes lots of issues for people. 10 years and only now slowly getting traction on awareness to this issue. *sigh* It's 2022 for F'ck's sake! (Not your fault, unless you've read about the issue and ignored it. lol)

Spider mites are easy, stupid simple beasts which are slaves to their breeding cycle. They are ridiculously easy to get rid of in veg, and with filtration and clean garden practices they will stay out of your flowering areas.

There is zero ability to build up a resistance to the following pesticide...
1 ounce of 70% or stronger isopropyl alcohol mixed into 1 gallon of water.
Add barely enough soap/surfactant so the solution spreads on the leaf instead of beading up.

COVER THE SOIL!

Spray the plant down completely, every 3 days for 5 treatments.
That's 15 days, 5 treatments, 3 days apart.
More than 3 days apart and/or less than 5 applications will usually result in live mites left over to breed and lay eggs.

Ensure proper ventilation so you're breathing fresh air while doing this.

Your mites, as long as you identify and remove the initial infection vector, will be gone.

This is where you should think about heading...

And bunny poop is the shit! Even when the soil has (Edit: minor) problems, you can still keep your plant healthy with foliar sprays of bunny tea and water soluble calcium (KNF). ;)

Root damage or an oxygen poor area around the root feeding that part of the plant.

Reardless of growth rates... you'd still be better off transplanting than trying to fix it. Be sure to fix all this and veg till the soil is back to normal before bloom. The quality differnces are stunning. ;)
This plant since being transplanted a few hours ago has already perked up and the new growth is now totally upright no longer drooping. Glad I transplanted thanks for the advice

What pH is recommended? I've been running 6.0-6.3 on my soil grows, although they are bottle nutes
Good to hear you fixed it :)(y)

That WAS overwatering damaged. I know the symptoms very well. The roots don’t have to look slimey or what ever, all they need to do is lack oxygen/aeration badly enough ..the proper root rotting starts abit later.

3 gal is alot of moist soil for a fairly small plant that hasn’t got a proper root system established yet.

Go easy with the watering now that you have repotted the stunned plant, cause it will get fucked again very easily until it has developed proper root and leaf mass.

Some plants don’t like over watering at all.

..i’m struggling with a very, very sensitive Amnesia Haze pheno atm. I haven’t had this overwatering-sensitive plant before thou i have ruined many plants by over watering in my earlier years. Her two sisters can take heavier watering much better.

You should water new soil abit when you re-pot a plant but it’s not good to really soak the soil. It’s better to water abit and go easy the next few weeks till the plant starts picking up proper speed, esp. when the new container is fairly large for the re-potted plant.

dude is trolling you fools hard btw :ROFLMAO:
Come on man. Everyone was a beginner at some point.

Reading up on the theory and having all kinds of fancy gear is all well and good. But things like hand watering are really something you need to get a feel for. Only comes with experience, trial and error... And lets face it, even experienced growers can make mistakes with this, for example if the weather turns out to be totally different than what was predicted.

@Rtaym22224 Glad to hear your plant has perked up!

Well said.

I see many times people are confusing watering issues – over and under watering issues – with nute deficiencies. I've seen many times people giving advice recommending flushing when the damage was actually done by overwatering in the first place.
You need to have these issues few times till you learn to read the plant - and it's a good teacher in that regard but it's a hard lesson to learn. I have ruined many grows that way when i started soil growing.

nah, beginners don't have CO2 automated system, PPFD measured fancy stuff
no mercy with anyone showing up like that!

obvious to everyone with at least one season of any normal gardening experience...
still ok not knowing... BUT...the advice that came after, being a weed forum, holy shit!
reading it all, I wasn't sure who is trolling who in the end?

before legalization you had at least to be knowing what you do and people at places like here had a certain level. But now, oh boy. People show up like "know it all", thinking they just buy the best shit, enter all variables into a machine and 12 weeks later, prime bud comes out...
what's next? 3D printed weed?

I remember learning to ride a bike, using training wheels, and I am not ashamed to say it, since most had! Started with both wheels, then took one off, later took em all off.
why not approach gardening like this?
go buy a pack of seeds, a bag of soil, some pots and give em water + sunlight.
might be a better return on investment, afterall

Yes. Alot of these newbie know-it –alls started appearing after the legalization in the US. Everyone has a collage degree and seems think they’re so intelligent and that their input is always valid and needed.

Can’t read a plant but they sure read alot of shit off the internet.

Shitty attitudes and alot of trolling cause standup comedy is such a fad atm. It wasn’t like this 10+ years ago. No wonder there’s alot of shootings happening in the US. Insufferable many of these morons..

This is the plant that is still suffering. I transplanted per the advice I got on here as soon as I noticed the upper new branches starting to droop. The roots were not overwatered and they were a healthy white. Went into new soil approx 2.6 gal of soil 20% perlite mix , put 1 gal distilled ph 6.7 ec 250 through it.

Now every branch is dropping. Plant looks more sick.

Other plants right next to it receiving the same care and very healthy.

Is this plant going to die? I’m about to just replace it. Let me know if i can somehow save this plant and how

I know I went overkill with my setup. I’m able to maintain healthy vpd and co2 of 1300ppm during light on cycle at all times.
RH is totally under control.

Yes I even have a PAR light reader, ph tester ec pen, a lot of fancy shit I probably don’t need I’m just not looking to get bashed for it. If I wasted $6000 on parts of my setup then I wasted $6000. It’s a hobby I love and am willing to dump money into.

Yes I still need to perfect things like basic watering

And my lung room is set up and all the shit in my tent humidifier co2 will all be outside of the tent along with everything unnecessary

It perked up a bit right after transplant but slowly deteriorated into all branches dropping now

Here’s a slightly better photo
