hey pete, i don't have to feed my plants in veg, the soil does all the work so i don't even use nutes...well i take that back...very rarely, mostly if i got big plants veggin i haven't put into flower yet or something...but in flower they need something... i think cal-mag is in the works i gotta save up some money for that shit

Sounds great, brother. You are on the path of knowledge and at the end lies the killa-krazy. Getting there is half the fun!

I have no doubt your next crop will be even bigger and better. This crop was fine right up till a little issue at the end but no biggie. Next time watch that runoff ph and it will tell you how your soil is doing. I'm sure you will be enjoying some righteous homegrown soon!

Take care and feel free to pm me if you have any questions. Oh yah, try to post some updates so we can see how it all turns out for you. It looks like you are gonna have yourself some nice budz there soon.

Peace.

yeah i'm in basically an identicle setup to you k1..

ffof & fflw mix..

i use pbp grow & soil bloom, cal-mag+, liquid karma, blackstrap molasses and hygrozyme.

i don't switch to bloom until stretch is almost done and clusters are forming. then i feed light feedings of pbp grow (5ml/gal) mixed in with the soil bloom (5ml-10ml/gal) at the onset of flowering. only after about 3-4 weeks in do i cut out the grow nutes and replace with 5ml/gal molasses and let them finish up. c/m+ is kept at a constant 5ml/gal throughout along with lk @ 7.5-10ml/gal.

N def. almost always creeps in the last half of flower. dependant on strain/pheno the plants all lose some amount of leaves to slow yellowing.

here's 3 lisa marie's i've got going now. these shots are day 46 out of a 65-70 day flower time.

well see IMO i would say that plant is not healthy, and therefor not producing the yield it could... green plants just grow better, it's a fact, it's not hard to get a plant to yellow a LITTLE in the end...yellowing of that nature is too extreme IMO, but that's just my .2cents

o no i agree. i'm just saying i even keep pbp grow in the mix longer than most and i still get N def with this medium/nute set.

i think the only way i'll ever get pristine green growth during flower is to ditch the bottled stuff altogether and go for casting/guano/kelp teas.

yeah man, i just started using castings more and more, and i have been using guano's, the casting REALLY green up plants quick, im talking like 4-5 days youll see visible greenness.. here is a update for you guys...im not sure if i mentioned this, the yellwoing is starting from the TOP down the top colas are yellowing, but down below on the bottom colas, they are still dark green...does this still fit right along with your guys diagnosis??? i just noticed this with these pics here is the same leaf from before... and oooh BTW the male used to creat these deezel's i been growing had to have been serious they both OOOZE resin, and the duck deezel i harvested is potent and shit with awesome flavor...

Ruberband Man,

What did you mean by superthrive doing more harm than good at this point? It would help metabolize the remaining nutrients available to the plant. In the book "Cultivating Exceptional Cannabis" by DJ Short he recommends using the B-Vitamin up to the last week (page 17). Just curious,
