i dont have powered lime .......
that doesnt say how much to use ...
that still just says sprinkle ,, dont say how much .......
still just saying add it , not how much ...
so enless there is something i missed , you have said to add a teaspoon of ( powder lime ) to each pot, but i have pellets ... and i have went back and looked at it several times.... but i only see you talking about measurements concerning powdered lime .
so im not being a pain or trying to be i should say. just want to be sure before i cause anymore problems for the lady's...
so maybe you ment to say that both types of lime use the same amounts , but from what i see that was never said ... all i see is ( sprinkle some ) ..

amounts will depend on too many variables. try a "bit", measure PH again, use common sense sorry of this doesnt help

OK, I thought you said you had powdered lime.
To get powdered lime from pellet lime:
Place pellets in baggie. Smash with brick... Problem solved!
Pelleted lime will work over time, I never used it myself, don't know the recipe. I would guess one cup per 5 gallon bucket.

ok well thank you both for braking it down for me . in no way am i trying to cause any problems and i am great full that you guys and gals are helping me ... truly i am .
like i had said before i just dont wanna cause anymore problems for the plants then they already have ...
i was going to just add some and then measure the runoff , but with lola saying its slow released , i was thinking that it might not show up on the ph test for a wile , and by then i would have added way to much by the time it started showing on the tester ,,
but imma crush some up ... and put it in ...
p.s.
poor lolagal , cant go back and read the post to make sure she know's what she is saying is right and to find out for sure what im useing , before jumping right in to say things about me not reading my own post .... and i even put a picture of the bag i had in the thread ..... funny .

I swear I looked at that bag and thought it was crushed lime... hahaha
I would just adjusted the water to 8.0 and water with that if your plants are at 6.0 they can scrape by OK.
Some people say 6.3, some say 6.8, some say 7.0... I think it's 6.8 myself.. lol...
Just adjust the watering water and you will squeak by! The pellet lime will help over time to bring it up slowly as well.
I've grown some in soil at 6.0 and got by with it. durn Miracle Grow! hard to work with ain't it? It's a challenge only us experts can deal with...
p.s. go get some Mosquito Dunks and break up some and put on the top of the soil. Most MG soil I get has fungus gnat eggs FREE! Use one teaspoon of dry dunk material on each bucket. This will prevent Fungus gnats from gettin bad on your grow.

im glad you did not take that wrong .. thanks for the info ,,, i have seen some flying little things . i got stuff called organocide . it says it kills 25 problem insects including spider mites , aphids , thrips , chinch bug , white flys , and meny more ... also fights agents powdery mildew . i was going to try it ... what ya think
