Need help on my first grow

Flushing with tap water or mixed fertilizer?

I flushed previously with ph balanced tap, but that was early in the grow. Since I saw some signs up possible nutrient deficiencies, i decided to flush with small amount of nutes this time.

My tap water is around 7.5. I don't have a PPM reader. I'm guessing my desolved solids from tap are about average. A bit higher than ideal, but also not a huge factor.

Dizzy, I totally agree about the pot size. A little late now, but my second grow will be with much smaller pots for sure.

Of all the problems, and there were many, I think lack of oxygen from overwatering and PH were the main two. I actually think those crappy nutes are doing okay. Because on the days that the plant is getting O2 and not drooping, its shows pretty good, healhy growth.

I made an "after-the-fact" hempy setup by putting it in a slightly wider pot, drilling hole, and then covering gap with foil to prevent too much evaporation. I'm hoping this allows me to let the top dry out a bit more for o2 but keep the bottom roots fed. I'll post pics in a few days.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to help. I really appreciate it

If you're curious municipal governments can usually provide water quality reports. If they ask, mention fish in tanks.

So I can confirm it was almost certainly, primarily, a PH problem. After the flush and lowering my nute PH from the 6.0 i was giving it to 5.2 that I am giving it now, growth has started to rapidly pickup. I would say the plan has grown more in the last 72 hours than it had in the previous 2 weeks. It looks strong and vibration. Nodes are starting to rapidly expand under the lights (still in veg). I'll try to post some pictures sometime in the next few days. I'm waiting for the plant to recover a bit from my topping.

5.2 ....

Oi vey...

5.8-6.2

Chasing run off is chasing your tail. Medium pH/EC can not be properly gauged this way.

I have read that elsehwere, and I am certainly not doubting it. But I can say after I flushed and started with 5.2-5.5, the plant looks perfectly healthy again and has now grown over twice larger in the last 5 days. I'm not exaggerating: It was 15cm after about 6 weeks. After flush and 5 days at 5.2-5.5 (I did one of each) it is 36cm...still in veg. So I'm a bit reluctant to go higher than the 5.5, since it is clearly a happy plant now.
