Need help on flowering issue

From the pictures, those are not even putting off any sign of sex. I have ran alot of strains and have always seen the sex of a plant within a couple weeks in veg and no longer than a month with lights on 24/0. I think i read its 4 months old? Somethings wrong.Do you know the strain? Seed/clone? Are you feeding her/it? (What). 4 months old and looks to be about 1-2 feet tall? If I vegged that long I would have 8 feet tall plants, sativa or indica.

I would go through your setup and check everything. Root bound? N.P.K.? Enough air?
To me its not getting something that it needs. Plant looks healthy and green. Genetics are a big thing when it comes to growing. Maybe its a certain pheno (Doubtful). Most people who grow, and I say most, do it for a profit or themselves. To me it wouldnt be worth wasting the money to grow out a 2 year strain. But then again Maybe it yields 4lbs of a 2 foot plant. IDK.

Good Luck and I would turn your lights down and try 10/14. Try to force it.

Here's what's confusing to me--I think I see alternating nodal growth. IME, once those nodes alternate the plant shows sex, every damn time. I agree with Kushy, I'd drop the light portion of the photoperiod down to 10 hours and force that thing. Otherwise, like Liza pointed out you may have to change a few bulbs before much of anything happens.

Well either the sativa has her own time or you might have a light leak? Have you ever been in your room when it's dark with a green light? I was surprised to find light leaks in my room which obviously is going to cause problems. But I would have to say it's the sativa and your going to have to wait for her headband 707

What are your temps like? Flouros wont put out much heat, it could be a little cold in there for them.

The temp in the closet is about 29 to 32 degree Celsius. I grew it from seed and trust me. you do not want to be caught in my country with weed on you. I am running a very risky game here. I know it doesn't seem that tall for a 4-5 months old plant. It might be because I trim it a lot. I really do not want them to stood out.

Quite a number of "pre flower" have sprung up since my last post. I just hope I could now if it is a male or female soon.

I'll drop the lighting peroid to 10/14 hope hat the extra 2 hours of darkness will force it to flower. My cabinet it at most 97% light proof and the light leaks will not exceed that of moonlight.

As for strain, I am sure it is Sativa. Most probably a pure sativa.

Males, when they show flowers, tend to look like a tiny hand clawed up, with the fingers all pointed up. Or kind of like a sheaf of wheat. Those may be preflowers showing female, but I've seen those structures on plants that turned out to be male, too.

I will pray that you stay safe.

Are you sure no light is leaking from your veg light into the flowering area?

I've fixed the light leaks and I'm sure it is 99% light proof. I'll switch the timer to 10 on/14 off by this weekend and hopefully by end of this month, there will be signs of flowering and I can harvest by end of this year.

That picture does not show sex. Calyx/preflower sure. I believe it would have shown by now. Try forcing it with lights off for 24 hours with Bloom nutes the back on normal light regimin. If it still dont flower why risk a plant that wont even work and have so much controversy over. Less time is always less risky.

For starts the pots you are using, do they have a air supply from underneath?
Because otherwise the roots will not feel good in that moist soil.
I think the plants look good but you can almost see that the plants does not get the air in the soil as it should be. Swich to pots with a air supply from under and it will solve your problem.

Plus i read earlier that you are trimmin your plants, stop doing that right now!
The only time you take away the leaves is if they almost fall off when you are touching them.
The leaves are there for a reason, if you are starting to take away the leaves because you want more light on the "sweetspots" you are wrong.
The leaves contain alot of food that the plant needs in both grow stage and flowering stage, so keep your leaves on if you want to get big buds!

Over and out.

That sure isn't the only time I trim my plants, especially if they're indoors. If you've got to control size, you've just got to, period.

If you want to control the size of the plant you got better ways of doin it, scrog the plants and if they get to close to the light just tie them down, but never take away the food supply.

And if you want to control the size otherwise you just have to get a bigger place to grow or put them in flow stage earlier.

If you're seeing more preflowers then your plant is reaching sexual maturity. Definitely switch to a 10 hrs light, 14 hour dark schedule asap. Some sativas won't flower on a 12/12 schedule. I wouldn't do the 24 hour dark thing though because it may stress your plant, resetting the photoperiod and may set you back the 3 weeks you've already put into establishing a flowering cycle. If hairs start popping out those preflowers soon you'll know you're on the right track.

Did you read the OP's post? Just curious, because what you're posting isn't exactly relevant to what's being discussed here. Can you tell us how to get a seed start to show sex earlier than it's ready to, please?
