Need help on flowering issue

The plant is a pure Sativa strain (I think) and I've put under 12/12 lighting for about 3 1/2 weeks under Flu light 3000k but It still doesn't show and pre flowers. I know sativas normally takes a little longer but 25 days is really long. I've attached some pics and this is my first grow so I really need help.

I'll attach pics soon

hmmm should be old enough, next Q, what is the power of the bulb you are using?
Also try uploading those pics into your icmag album, the offsite links aren't working.

could be a lot of nitrogen in the soil or rez... whichever media your using. or...
try a 10/14 light schedule. 10 on 14 off. or...
leave it, it's a Sativa. they do that sometimes...

are they seeds or clones?

if seeds and it hasn't shown any signs of sex in 24-26 days it's a good thing... if it's male (probably not) it'll be a good breeder. according to some respected breeders a reluctant to flower male is potent.

but usually males will flower way before this amout of time tho. so, it's most likely a female... a high maintenance female type too.

5 to 6 months old.

Damn, you vegged a Sat for 4 months... inside! <--Respect

no I can't see the pictures.
It may just need some more patience on your part, it could just be a very slow sativa. Someone with experience of hazes may know more about that, seems no reason for it not to flower really.

Triple check your light timers. I got setback 1 whole month because the timer had the lights coming on for 3 hours right in the middle of the dark period. Was going on for WEEKS before I noticed it. If it's not that then try lowering the hours of day to like 11 or 10 and that should get them going for sure

 Hilarious...

because it happens often, especially with the cheap analog timers... anything can poke those peckers down...

and down means on.

Coba that is EXACTLY the one I have. You know what I"m talking about LOL

I can't count how many times that's happened to me... :imadork: lol

deathglider,

sorry, no pics... but, a pre-flower calyx will have a stigma(white hair) and be solitary the base of one petiole at each node.... and a stipule will be in pairs with no hairs more towards the center of the stem at each node...

but your full on flowering... so, you should be seeing the crown(<---what I call it) of the cola buds soon...

I'm dying to see some pics of this 5 month old sativa. Hope you got a high ceiling. Best of luck! I had this timer thing too, was only 15 minutes for one night though.

I really hope someone could tell me if the pics I have taken are stipules or calyx. Wonder dhy no one could see the pics.

I don't see that you have an album, but if you do and it's set to private then that's why no one can see your photos. Why don't you try simply attaching them to each message, instead? Look for the little paper clip up over the dialog box, or use the "Manage attachments" button at the bottom.

If what you're growing is truly a landrace Sativa, then as best I understand it, based on what the oldtimers have told me, it's going to need time. Some of them can, again based on what's been shared with me, take up to 2 years to finish flowering.

You can try shortening the light portion of the photoperiod as suggested above. Double check your timers, because 3 hrs interruption of the dark period is more than sufficient to stop flowering and keep a plant in vegetative phase. You can try cutting back on nitrogen, but I'm not so sure that's the best course of action here. If nothing else, this serves as good bump.

Yeh sounds like a timer malfunction to me. Sativas can take an extra couple of month to COMPLETE flowering but they should at least show their sex before the end of the first month of 12/12 in my experience.

:s So you would have to change your bulb at least three times. Hope that smoke is worth it.
