Yes, the smart pots should yield well, however I'm trying to keep them a little shorter this year. I will have both seed starts & clones, this time. Those big plants last year were all clones.

Good luck, post some pics

A productive gh can be made fairly simply/cheaply. I've seen basic hard sided structures with reinforced translucent gh roofing do pretty well. Ventilation is the key and can be done to needs with quality exhaust fans and passive venting. The more air mass turnover the better.

Simple hoop style houses are great too if you can secure them. The one below is 18x30 and was built for $500. It's easy to expand or contract the plans to fit your size requirements.

Is the reason for only a qp per plant is slower growth in veg in january and february due to lower sun levels? 5 ft or 8ft thats a qp? or do you prune them all to be close together?

could you explain?
Thanks!

We are using corrugated white poly translucent panels for the roof-- They work ok, but yes, we do have a diminished harvest because of blocked light-- I just built one here at my house, and I put the same thing on the roof..but I think I am going to replace it with the clear corrugated poly panels for my summer crop...see how much of a difference it makes-- I can do this at my house, as it is considerably smaller...but there is no way we can use clear on the 6000 sq ft one!! lol

blocked light and winter light. haha was never claiming to say that 100 lb wasn't an amazing spring harvest, as it is the bomb! was just wondering.

So with the days getting longer towards the end of flower do the nugs ever stretch as if wanting to reveg or does the extra light (as long as they stay in flower) make the nugs denser?

Thanks again!

No, 100 was the Summer Harvest...Spring was just short of 60...but didn't have as many plants--
As far as reveg towards the end of the Spring Harvest, we don't have any probs with the Kush...but we put all the Sativas in one area, and use a blackout cover--
Here are a couple pics--:tiphat:

Very impressive. I like the re veg a lot and believe if you already have the plant, why not take advantage and yields well for me indoor to out. Just curios if you did re veg's from most of what plants grown each go round?

Id luv to sit in there in between a row of plants having a hit or two. A guy i know as a kid dug a trench and grew from each side and framed over it. Very simple, till it rained, lol.

Thanks for sharing:wave:

We don't usually reveg our plants once cut, unless we don't have a mother for that strain...
I was talking about the flowering plants trying to go back into veg, once the days start getting long-- That is what we use the blackout tarp for, is to keep it close to a 12 and 12--:tiphat:

You were also saying as late as April 1. If I am going out March 7th, i should not expect to see as many reveg problems as if started april 1.

I also had thought the same of sativas, and will save them for the summer run.

Thanks again!

True that!! If my plants were big enough to flip today, I would turn my lights off--:tiphat:

Because it holds in moisture, promotes mold...and also because it is expensive, and we have like 400 linear feet of walls...half are 12 feet high, and half are 8--
I think that I will be painting them all between Spring and Summer crops this year...flat white paint has the highest reflectivity there is--:tiphat:
