need help finding grow tent to fit my basement

Hello everyone,
Im looking for a grow tent to fit my basement but have been striking out in my search. I need a tent that can range from the size of a 6ftx6ftx6ft to a 6'3"x6'3"x6'3" . I have looked everywhere online and cant find a tent of the right size. All the companies only make a bunch of random sized tents but they cant make a 6ftx6ftx6ft exactly . What the hell is up with that? Anyone know where I can find a tent to fit these parameters. Thanks homies

Yee but even the 5x5 by ever tent company out there are still like 78 inches tall. 2 inches taller than my basment . And my living situation is restricting me from building one otherwise I would.

I made a "ghetto" room one time with polystyrene insulation sheets and aluminum tape. Just cut up the 4 x 8 sheets ( which come with reflective coating:woohoo:) and aluminum taped up all the corners and edges. Cut me out a little door and wa lah. Wasnt the strongest thing in the world but did the job and wasnt "permanent" amazing how creative you can get with aluminum tape if you dont want to build a permanent structure.... good luck!!!!:tiphat:

It is very simple to make a foil line and insulated room cut to size in a few hours.
1 1/2 polyisocasinate 4x8 insulation sheet foil coverd (home depot) @ $25 a sheet
1-5/8, 25 ga metal stud track to slide the panels to on the corners ( HD )
$ 3 -10 foot piece
Reflective HVAC foil tape (HD) $ 10.00
Use a polyurathane glue 5 a tube USE SPARENLY
light glue he panels into the designed\size you want put a few wood studs across the top o hold he exaust fan , light etc.

You will need some 2inch pan or flat head screw #10 or 8 ( 2 in self taping work but the bugle head will stick out)
it is best predrill and glue lightly a 2in spot every 16 inches or so
Tape all joints inside and out
Cut in a door and you basically the inside of a freezer almost sound poof too
(Tip dont try and piece piece together they have to go full length)

Whoops sorry

I have built feezers in the past and forgot to tell after you figure out your size encase the lightly glued panels in the cut to size metal runners. Metal runners will be around edges. Screw all exterior metal track at square angles. With the 2inch screws. Where you cut he door wrap the door and opening in glued metal track cut 3/4 inch smaller and screw a cheap hinge,

This will allow to be built up to 10x10 recommend it that size 2x6 wood across at the joints

Yes, but it is a pain in the fucking ass. Better just to buy one.

I found one thats about 6'4" x 6'4"x 6'4". I see what your talkimg about. There all a little more than 6 x 6 x 6.

I was thinking of either getting it, or a 8 x 4. Does anybody know of a brand thats cheaper but comparable in durability to gorilla tents? The 2nd and 3rd pics are both approx 8 x 4. Gorilla tent 8 x 4's are like $700. These 2 are about $200-$300.

I'd say frame up your own room

I'm goin through the same height restraints as you

I'm in a 3x3 grow lab ATM, it's just not big enough

I'm framing up a 5x5 room this weekend with 2x4's and blk/whte poly

Good luck with whatever you choose bro

I was thinking about doing the same. What do you plan on doing for a door?

Yeah, i guess thats the easiest way to do it.

I currently grow in a walk in closet, that is separated by one of these homemade doors. I need bigger space now. And like I said, i plan on either buying a tent, or building a little room. If I build it, I need to find a different way to do the door. THe zipper thing works, but then you have to leave a space in the room to stand/work. Or you'd have to lean through the little zipper door. And getting the plants out is a bitch. I wonder if they sell they right angle zippers that are used on real tents. Like in the second pic. That would be perfect.

Tents are very useful if the prices don't bother ya

Greners.com has great prices on tents btw

I can build this 5x5 with 2x4 and poly for under $50

I already have the poly though, so that's not factored into the cost

Use two zippers, one on each side.
