need help concerning ventilation techniques

I'm planning on a doing a grow (a bit of a step up from the 250watt cab i was using) in the near future. Just when I go about planning this, small aspects of the ventilation/odor control have me stuck.

First of all I was thinking of using two 600watt lights in cooltubes. I'll hook up a 265cfm dayton-type fan to exhaust the hot air to the outside (the intake is at the other end of the cooltube construction and draws air from outside)
Concerning the cooltube setup, 265cfm ought to be enough for two 600watts right? Also, I've read mixed opinions on the daytons if your using them for things other than plain air circulations (e.g. carbon filters or cooltubes) Is this a big concern?

Second, I'm not at the point where I've chosen a location already so I will use some hypothetical dimensions (similar to what I would like to finally use) for the sake of this question.
A room 2mx2mx3m (lxdxh) = approx 6.6feet x 6.6feet x 9.8feet has a volume of roughly 425cubic feet, i'f I'm doing my math correctly.
Applying the guideline of 3-5 times complete air exchange per min this would mean I need a fan of like 1700cfm to adequately ventilate my room, and thus also a carbon filter of max capacity 1700cfm.
Maybe I'm mistaken but when I see thse numbers i think like WTF, cause if thats what you would need for a 2mx2m room what would u need for commerical sized grow!?!?

EDIT: not sure if it matters when it comes to my carbon scrubber/fan choice, but I'd b only using half the surface area as flowerig space (was thinkin to do like 1meter x 2meters lit by two 600watts with two 0.5meter isles on either side for access)

Either way the biggest vortex fans I'm even finding are like 1140cfm and those have a 12" flange or whatever! And those cost around 400 dollars (not to mention the price of the carbon filter you'd need with this fan). I refuse to believe that one would have to aquire SUCH expensive equipment for a relatively small space like this. So this is basically one of those points where I'm kinda stuck and don't know what to make of it.

Lastly, say I had the proper sized fan and carbon filter for the room...Is it as simple as making adequate passive intake holes, having the air sucked into the carbon filter and passed on to the outside? (By outside I dont mean outside the grow area, but really like outside of the living quarters, in the atmosphere)

sry if I made it kind along and boring, but Id really like this laid down for me cuase Ive been searchin the past 2 days straught online on all types of sites. Ive found alot of good stuff, but problem is its like finding small pieces of a puzzle. Kinda hard to fit it all together sometimes.

thx in advance

i dont think that blower is gona pull enough air for 1200W.. id look into a 465 or more.

but your ambient room temp has alot to do with how much air transferyou need.

I need a ton.

Try 6" vortex pushing air through lights and check the temp.If the airflows not sufficent add a 6" to pull after the scrubber.

You'll need more power to cool the tubes, which will help with cooling the room.
