High I apologize in advance for the Nubcake Questions and probably whats going to be an overlong Post....
I'm nearing the end of my Learn as you go Cab I've hit my speed bumps along the way and you all have been so kind as too help me (Shout out to SenorSloth! hes the man!) I've got a 6ft tall 4ft Wide and 2ft Deep Cab. I've separated it in half horizontaly to create two areas one for Veg one for Flower. The top is a 400w HPS Cooltube. The bottom is a mere 125 wat Cfl 6400k Self ballast (planning to get t5 lights next). I'm planning on doing a small Perpetual SOG keeping one mother and cuttings in the veg section letting them root and then throwing them into the flower section.
I'm planing to cut two 6" holes in the up left wall of each section i was going to join the vents and attach a 6 inch fan at the end to a carbon filter to the exterior. Which brings me to myproblem.
I was planing on having a series of holes for intake around the base of each section. my question is if i simply just dril wholes equaling up to 6" diamater how can I light proof these holes? The cab will be in my room so the lights will have to go on sometimes outside it and i'm worried it will leek in having a negative effect on my plants.
PS i have mylar and everything and it will be much neater layed then the TF in there now. lol
