wow, gaius goes DSLR....very good choice gaius
imo almost every DSLR is a good choice..it all depends on the equipment
for some decent macros, you will need a 'ring flash' and a 1:1 macro lens..all the rest is just a "learning by doing" process ..

yeah thanks a lot every one for the advise and help. when i went to the store to finally buy it the had sold out and the last 60 available in other shops across the country were all reserved lol. was disappointing, there were still 4 days left of the week long promotion, but it seems other were quicker to decide lol.

so no new camera just yet
