maybe check out this post for tips
http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=87990

Somethings to remember, if you're in a one bedroom you might have to set up one 1000 in each room (living room, bedroom) depending on how your electrical circuit is set up. You share walls with neighbors who may or may not be douches. So noise especially fan noise is a concern especially when it's completely quiet at night. You might want to spend a little time there first to figure out if the apartment management or neighbors are nosy or not. Also your electric bill might be a LOT more than other neighbors, make sure you get a place where you pay the electricity (not hard to find, most landlords in my experience are cheap). Also find out when inspections are done, my township has mandatory inspection once a year.

Maybe add the fan/Ona gel contraption someone posted or a vaportek cartridge with a pc fan that rez posted before in conjunction with the carbon scrub.

i ran 2800 in a 1 bedroom... the key is to run sealed room.
use outside intake to cool the hoods. run a small a/c or whatever u got. and put your charcoalfilter inside the room with a 4" or somthing simaler.

so if i use same set up as DIGITALHIPPY i need to put on my shoping list:
2 cooled hood
172 4 inch canfan to cool the hoods enough?

k in a sealed room will the 172 cfm canfilter hook to the 4 inch fan do the job well enough cause there was sure some smell in the house when stinkier plant are in bloom connected to my exhaust but that might have been leak that the tape sealing joint between the fan and the filter letted out

I had an Elicent 200B inline running in an apartment grow and it was quiet even at night. The thing to control is the vibrations. If not set up correctly it will vibrate the walls and floor. Use rubber as a shock absorber or even springs that can be purchased at Home Depot. If set up properly it won't cause any attention - at least mine didn't and I had 4 - 1000's going in a two bead room. Also, another very important thing to find out before renting an apartment is the type of wiring. Aluminum wiring is very bad for growing. The place I had used it as it was built in the 70's and it heated up the fuse box and sparked once in a while! I don't know if this is typical for aluminum wiring when running such a high voltage, but I do know its resistance is greater causing more heat. Just something to look into - good luck!

How do you run 2800 in one bedroom? Are the lights run on different breakers?

thank DIGITALHIPPY TGT phillykid for your help and understanding.
well my only concern is will my 172 cfm canfilter enough to clean the stink from 20 huge plant of a really stinky strain like WW or I would be better off to clone my jack moms and go with the jack herer that wont smell so bad.

If I were you, I would just up the size of the can filter. I heard fresh new ones work better too. :rasta:

I got an old library book that had a nice system of venting through a window. You would do that for the lamp cooling and seal that room. Perhaps a window unit or dehumidifier if you have central AC and still damp.

You put up a white curtain that the window, perhaps lace on bottom. Then you tack seal the panda film and double it up for white-white. You can even make a light trap in the sill width. It looks, from the outside, like a partly-open window with a curtain on the inside.

You might want to switch to a low-odor strain. I would call Satori "low odor" and it kicks butt. Odor =/= potency; just bag appeal (which could be everything).

I have a Vent-Ax 180 cfm 4 inch and the smallest Can filter made. It needs replacing for when my Diesel Ryders come on line. Only 8 months or something, but I made it suck up benzene paint fumes once and that messed it up.
