I went to the end of there trail at the mouth of the Columbia river this weekend in Oregon and Washington, a few pics from the trip.they had big guns protecting the mouth of the river.

The Sockeye salmon are running, I've been getting them everyday, really a kick catching them. The scenery is as awesome as the fishing!!!!

Sharp shinned hawk

Took this pic through the front window today, Took a bath and hung out for awhile. Locally the're called sharpies, it's a smallish hawk that feeds on smaller birds mostly, out back trimming yesterday i caught the first flock of geese comeing in for the winter, a couple hundred thousand winter here in the valley. Here's a pic of my Topsy turvy tomato grower, I grew a dutch treat hangin on the patio, great for conversation and giving a friend a cutting!!
