Hey all, got a pic. of a ringneck pheasant,its been hanging around here for 2 or three years.
every spring it comes around the house cackling all day long.I think its trying to romance my free range chickens.
last spring I went to a local game farm and bought him 10 hen pheasants,so far I haven't seen any of the hens this spring.Don't know if they are hiding in the bush or if they all died over the winter.

finally the sun broke through the clouds here after a horrible rainy start of the summer. so i grabbed my fishing rod in a hurry and picked up my fathers puppy at their house. he is such a delightful little guy i always have a blast with him.



but then at one of my sea trout spots, more of them reindeer. almost ironic, more reindeer after all this rain lol.


needless to say when you watch the pics that i got to do no fishing but i got a nice photo series out of it and the dog loved it.

i guess they felt threathened by the dog and they might have felt cornered because this young bull started bravading about and getting between us and the calves.

staredown.. this dogbreed is called border collies, they are herders so lots of instict.

here he is making me sooo proud. he is only 7 months or so.

finally a shot from the other day when we went fishing another place, gotta practice alittle more on not chasing the lures hehe

yes.. bad dog get outta the water!!.. u heard me!!
