Quick update on the hedgepigs!

Quick update on the hedgepigs!

Hi all,

Was taking out the rubbish today when I heard some rustling noises near the front door. The hedgehog babies we're out storming about whilst mum and dad were asleep at the back in the leaves :D

Unfortunately I only had time to take some photos with my phone and by the time I had gone inside to get my camera they had gone back into their nest. Apologies for the quality:

I'll try and get some new shots when my SLR arrives :D Been saving for ages, just bought a Nikon D40X :woohoo:

I have lot's of Rabbits and especially Hares that come in my garden, along with Deer (some Muntjack) and the Hedgepigs that are stopping by. I have two toads that live at the bottom of my basement steps and 3 lesser spotted woodpeckers that come to eat in my garden.

Recently a very successful rerelease scheme has reintroduced Red Kites into my area so when I get my new SLR I'll try and get some shots :)
