Actually no, they have not. I know the bugs around my area. These guys are totally new here. I even asked the neighbors and they said that they have never seen em before. We get new bugs all the time as the planet gets warmer and the winters milder, so it's not like a surprise.

Crazy looking bug there BT, had to chase down this thread after seeing something amazing i have never witnessed in person today.

I was out smokin in my garden with a good buddy among some freshly planted ladies, and as we are talkin about the season and such i see this movement along some freshly raked area.

at first i thought it was just a "wolf spider" (not sure if thats its technical name) than i saw this blue multicolored bug as well, as it came closer i wasnt sure which one was carrying which, at first the spider was what was propelling the movement than i noticed its legs go limp and this tiny blue bug dragging it.

im not sure what its called, but its obviously a spider predator that bites them and poisons them. the coolest part to watch as it dragged in right in front of us, was he would drag it a ways, Drop it and run up ahead to check the path he was going to take that was clear so it was easier for him to drag.

He would run in a path than circle back around to see if he had missed a better route. it was one of the coolest things i have seen in a very long time. after running back and forth and dragging this spider which had to have been 10 times bigger than him, he found his destination which was a crack in the ground. He popped down in it for a second to scout it out, than began moving small dirt pieces and rocks.

Finally once he was satisfied that it was big enough for the spider to fit he began pulling it down in its hole. it got stuck about half way down and the bug patiently ran back up the hole and pulled the spiders 2 front feet down in the hole which was abstructing its path. after it was almost all the way lodge down in the crack a small piece of rock fell down also hindering its path it rolled that off the back of the spider and on down the crack it went.

I SOoooo wish i had my camera out there when this was happening, i can take short video clips and it would have been great and amazing to at least get some quick snap in succession photos of what this spider predator was doing.

My best bet would be that Genkisan could tell me what this bug is, if anyone else knows im going to be smokin in the garden quite often with the camera, and will watch out for this again. i was quite stoned and very happy about witnessing it. at least i have a buddy who was there to watch it as well :D

anyways if anyone cares to read that whole thing or not. but hope your all having a great month and have a great year and season to come.

Peace and love

thats a cool lookin blue heron, i find it amazing how they just stroll around real slow to achieve what they want in life without a seeming worry of getting anywhere quick.
