Ah, I thought it was a 3 way thing: drug type (high THC), a cbd type (low to no THC), and a wild type which is hempy-non psychoactive.
To me the description reads like a hemp/drug hybrid cultivar, and not necessarily with distinct hemp and drug phenos either.

A cannabis landrace sourced from the same village as the famous Nanda Devi accession, these are seeds of the larger multipurpose type of domesticate known to local farmers as ‘dati’, available here as Kumaoni.

Because of dati fields in this village being in very close proximity to crops of ‘Nanda Devi’, the two types have inevitably interbred.

Nanda Devi traits such as its fiery soaring high can certainly be found among these plants. Equally, desirable dati traits are present such as higher yield and ease of germination relative to the wild-type var. himalayensis qualities of Nanda Devi.

Sorry I did not make myself clear.

I'm going by what I'm seeing in this thread and other threads on icmag. Plantguy did not seem to get any early expressions.

I personally don't buy the low light environment affecting flowering onset.

"much earlier" is hard to quantify. I'm also trying to track down the caption to a picture on the website which described it as being a plant grown in spain .. in october if I recall correctly.
a lot of the old brick weed , we used to get didn't mature fully till the last of november first part of dec, !

Pictured here on the left is the ND, 3 weeks in flower. Stretch is slowing and seeing stigmas. Without LST, it would have been a 6 ft tall plant, 4 ft tall side branches as you see in the wild plants. Very Sativa leaves versus the hybrids to the right.

Just wanted to add my experience - these are DEFINITELY not early finishing 😂 shame on rsc for ever claiming that bs!

I grew a boat load out last year and gave half to a friend. First off, the thing about hit n miss germination rates is also bullshit 🤣 Bought them in november, sat in the fridge till march or whatever, and 8/8 popped nearly overnight like any other pot seed. Interestingly I had one male dropping pollen by late july/early august, but out of all the other plants not a one was ready by november 1st. Expect mid november to december harvest

No smoke report because I chopped em early, relegated it all to hash material, and haven't made the hash yet lol

They are definitely early finishers in their native environment compared to other Himalayan strains as indicated on the ND page. Shame on you for not understanding that and spewing bs (your word) on RSC.

I really wonder why would a seed seller tell people that their seeds can have germination issues if they don't as that sure wouldn't help sells. Could it be because some people did run into germination issues and complained about it to Angus ? I'll let you ponder over that possibility

Interestingly I had one male dropping pollen by late july/early august,
So you did encounter a very early finisher in your own environmnent. Mmmkay.

That comment is bullshit -your word again- if you don't mention at which lattitude you're growing. Also you only grew eight plants.

No smoke report, no pictures, no info about growing envionment, only abusive comments that RSC is bs/bullshit. OK.
