... I have to use a pumice stone to effectively clean my feet. After a summer running the ground in dirt gives some very odd looking soles.

Try a brush, it's a bit easier on the outer skin.

Get yourself fitted for a good pair of Clarks! Best shoes I have ever found...

I have a pair that are 7 years old and have been to the cobbler to be re-soled TWICE. Great shoes, I'm just really rough on them, do a lot of walking etc.

I buy nothing but Clarks shoes. For sandals Berk's are the way to go for me. The pronounced arch is great for my flat feet.

Go find the pair that works for you, try a bunch of styles and go from there.

Rainbow sandals for the next biggest %.

then some Ipath rasta skate shoes for everyday type stuff.

flossy all white Nikes or some color coordinated ones if I feel like putting effort into a night out.

I'm looking into the Vibram Five Fingers (the 'barefoot' toe shoes) for training n general athletics, a buddy has a pair and loves em.
