All the major teleco's do. They have all been given the letters from the NSA/CIA and they have all complied. The letters are a requst, not a search warrant and the fact that they just comply is an example of who you are dealing with.

They NSA/CIA and Big Business are one and the same or at least different branches to the same extortian racket.

The aspect of chasing canabis is because it is a way they can criminalise a lot of people and get them into their system very quickly. Once you are (identity) in the system your stuck there. Non violent crime is perfect because the prey are easy to catch and process. Once in the system they can come and round you up at any time. Remembering you need to tell them where you are all the time and any violation will get you jail time.

Now the sweet bit to the whole deal is that once you are a convict they can use you for slave labor. We now have several slave labor camps set up at both army bases and in farm camps where they use the labor for picking fruit and vegetables.

Now they are filling those camps with non violent criminals and of course pot smokers are about as non violent you can get.

I seen on MSNBC last night a story about the N.S.A. getting online information from AT&T. And how there is a lawsuit against them for violating our rights.
Now this has made me wonder about things I have posted on the web. Mainly my web page showing my grow. Granted I don't have a huge amount of plants growing. I can't help but wonder if some government agency has those pics in thier system?
I'm temped, and seriously considering, to delete the web page all together.
So I hopeing my brothers and sisters here at IC would be so kind to give me advice on what I may need to do. Cause I know the last thing any of us wants is to see someone get busted.

Even if you deleted the webpages now, they probably would've had it saved long, LONG time ago. But still, the last time I checked, going after small time pot cultivators isin't in the NSA's top 10 list of priorities.

Again, if you were Mahmoud Razzak from Peshawar or Park Jong Suk from Yongboyang, your communications activity would be "on the scanner"- but not otherwise, I'd imagine. DPRK diplomats have been busted + deported from US, Japan, South Korea and Singapore over drug peddling charges. Many of the "clues" and "leads" were got using their communications activities. But still- a DPRK diplomat would "push" a heavy cargo ship load full of meth or coke. I think there's lots of difference between that and a personal grower.

There's LOTS of filtering that needs to be done on the Internet to zero down to a small time cultivator! The effort should at least be worth the potential rewards. As far as personal / small time cultivators go, local snitches & carelessness are the BIGGEST culprits to getting people busted.

I'd advise you to take a deep breath, relax, smoke a FAT bowl, buy some HARDCORE P heavy ferts, let those fuckers flower and look out for personal snitches & ensure those you know you grow have a tight tongue.

Even otherwise, Indian people in general are very skeptical about the "capabilities" of the US Feds. Apparently, the SAME NSA was watching our nuclear activity with all their might since 1974. Apparently, EVERY SQUARE INCH of Rajastan was monitored REAL TIME. Yet, when the second nuclear testing was done in 1998-in Rajastan- without ZERO coverup and a bunch of $3 tents, the NSA found out about the nuclear test only thru the local national TV broadcast So, ALOT of the "demi God" status attributed from the Feds is from fear tactics and baseless advertising alone.

In short, be careful, don't be paranoid. And focus on what REALLY gets non large scale cultivators busted (snitches, loose tongues, carelessness). Peace.

Naga, thanks for injecting a bit of sense in this thread. Folks, there are over 270 million home phones and 225 million cell phones in this country. There are also 205 million internet users in the U.S.A. Does anyone realize how many terrabytes(not gigabytes) of storage would be necessary every single day to record all of our conversations and log all of our internet activities. It is totally impossible to do this at this stage. Even if it were possible, how many people do you think that NSA or CIA or FBI have to monitor all this activity?

While I am dead set against the violation of our privacy, I sometimes think that the feds have done us a favor by passing Constitutionally bullshit laws like the Patriot Act. That fucker generates so much paperwork that the Feds will never have time to read all of it. All the people that they have occupied with reading and storing all that info is that many people who are not on the ground looking for us. If you understand what they are looking for, you know what to avoid. Do not buy money orders over $3,000. Never deposit over $10,000 cash at any one time. These both trigger letters to the Feds.

Naga is correct in saying that the feds are not after small-time growers. They aren't even after larger growers who sell domestically(in their own area). The local cops handle that. They are mainly interested in inter-state and international drug trade. I do not believe that it is a good idea to have a website about your Cannibis grow unless you have proxies and servers outside the country, as ICMag does. Gypsy has stated that his servers are secure and that there is a plan in place to de-magnitize the drives, should any shit come down. I appreciate knowing that and feel safer with these provisions in place. However, since I do not have the knowledge of how to improve my personal security through proxies, I will not post any pictures of "illegal activities" such as growing. For all anyone knows, I am a total bullshitter about my personal grows and just want to fit in and be accepted by you criminals out there.

well first were talking about it... planting the seed. thats all it takes, make people think and express your thoughts and feelings about these issues. My freinds hate when i start ranting about these kind of things.Human nature is curiosity..plant the seed and they will investigate wether they seem doubtfull or optimistic.

We can make a difference and take back the world and ourselves...watch..this wont happen easily. I can say for myself i would fight for the freedom and lives of my family freinds and fellow humans. I would willing give my life to a just cause for freedom. the sad thing is that when its acheived the cycle starts overagain...back to human nature. Greed.

My main point is that if we are already causing a problem for them and spreading the seeds of thoughts then it will not go over easily. the question is will we collectively as a people have the BALLS to step up and stop this??
Also i wouldnt be worried if your getting away with it, but dont do ANYTHING that can possibly comprimise your security.

If it will make you feel better, pull it out of geocities. How many visitors does your Website attract??? If it's low traffic, you can get Omnihttpd and host the site from your own desktop PC (as long as you got your Internet on- which is 24*7 nowadays).

You have better access as to who is visiting your website, such as THEIR IP infos etc. You can also supplement your security better integrating ur "server" with other privacy progs, filters, blah blah blah. ANd try to get your new "server" registered thru a dutch hosting company, or a company in a country that isin't crawling with puritan bigots.

Just a thought, but do consult a few experts first.

they all share info now. the nsa can listen to your phones and monitor you then send it on to the fbi who can then send it on to your local PD who can then bust you.
