I seen on MSNBC last night a story about the N.S.A. getting online information from AT&T. And how there is a lawsuit against them for violating our rights.
Now this has made me wonder about things I have posted on the web. Mainly my web page showing my grow. Granted I don't have a huge amount of plants growing. I can't help but wonder if some government agency has those pics in thier system?
I'm temped, and seriously considering, to delete the web page all together.
So I hopeing my brothers and sisters here at IC would be so kind to give me advice on what I may need to do. Cause I know the last thing any of us wants is to see someone get busted.

I saw that too.
They have a secret room at AT&T where they installed equipment that copies every single phone call and all internet activity. Not just watching but saving that info. The funny thing is that the NSA was not setup to monitor domestic information. Once again another branch of government is abusing it's power.
All I can say was what we were afraid Bush was going to do has happened.
This administration can not be trusted.
The WWW is the final frontier and it has great powers.
Our government seems to think they have the right to control that too.
Sometimes I trip out thinking that the USA will go down in the history books like Germany, Russia, Korea, etc...
USA has turned into the worst propaganda country in existence.
Think about it. We were raised with all this patriotic shit stuffed down our throat.
The same stuff Hitler,Stalin, Saddam etc.... were telling their countrymen.

It totally sucks. I love my country. I just can't stand some of the people running it. Look at the Walter Reed scandal. WTF? How could they let it get in such disrepair? Where the fuck did all the funding go? The people of this government need to wake up and smell the roses. The middle and lower classes are the backbone of the military. And are also the gun enthusyist(sp) of this country. It makes me think that someday this country will have another revolution. That is unless someone drops a bomb on our ass first.

ever wonder how many times ya been caught on camera huffin a bone? gettin a bit outta control in urban areas with all the video cameras every where ya go. hardly walk down a street tokin up with out bein recorded by somethin.

seen a bit on how england has a huge number of cameras in there cities. the damn things are everywhere, and are linked where they lock on to your ass and follow ya from one cameras range to another. in a 8hr day your actions are recorded 1000's of times.

just a few weeks ago i was in denver and fucked up at a street light, and man the flash bulbs were goin off, from every angle lol.

scary stuff....what can we really do to stop it?...seriously? I'd love to fight the machine but how really? .. protests don't work...I know the machine that's in-place at press conferences and what not to shelter all that from the news and the powers that be don't even bat an eye or care. they have an agenda and that's it.

now...in one closed room discussion there was a polotician from Australia there...I'll say this...and I may be naive but!!!...that man impressed me and was one of very few times I felt like he cared! The way he talked about his government and the way he presented his position was stand up respectable. Do you think it would make a difference if we were able to fill our governments with people like that? .. I have seen honest people turn corrupt after less than 10 years climbing the political ladder. It's a visious cycle...to climb you need to get in bed with scoundrels...becoming one themselves.

Big Brother? a faceless entity used to represent the powers that be monitoring your every move. They listen to your phone calls already, they record em all the time on 90%+ of the networks. They claim theyre filtering calls looking for terrorists. yeah right. theres no terrorists living in the USA they cant get in the security is too tight. THe ministry of Plenty, remember that one. responsible for giving out rations always telling you how much better things are this year than the last year. Well stop listening to them for a second and listen to yourself. are things really better? or are they worse and continuing to get worse? The ministry of love. How much love is being shown to all those millions of people locked behind bars every year for menial crimes? Overcrowded prisons much? Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, secret black sites in europe. The Ministry of Peace (or in this case democracy) spreading its tentacles across the globe to show the rest of the world how to live. Why do soldiers need so many guns , missiles, and stealth aircraft, unmanned drones with cameras to spread democracy? and last but not least my favorite one the ministry of Truth which is concerned with media and news. All*(almost all) media in the USA and much of the "free" world is controlled by a small handful of people. Look at rupert murdoch and see how many news organizations he alone controls. They control the media. How much truth is actually there? How could you tell if there was any? Im sure nothing important was happening in the world on those days when the only thing you could see on any news outlet was, Anna Nicoles dead son, Anna Nicoles new baby and "who the babby daddy?" ,Anna Nicoles death (wow this bitch was more famous dead than she ever was alive), Those retards who got lost in the mountains a few months ago. Yeam im sure that was the most important shit going on those days.

Lets continue. The inner party. That would be the politicians. Just like the people of 1984 we talk to them and ask them for favors, they smile and wink and tell us it will be alright. We are not all fully aware, but there are enough of us speaking up for us to be a problem. they all share info now. the nsa can listen to your phones and monitor you then send it on to the fbi who can then send it on to your local PD who can then bust you.

Why would my local PD bother, when they have people lined up around the cell block to rat out growers, with 100% reliable information.

At worst it could trigger an investigation.

Plus, even taking the time to forward the information to narcotics detectives is not an option for the NSA.

They aren't going after Herb growers.

Just isn't going to happen.

They just wait for someone to get busted, set that person up as an informant, and have them buy drugs off you, and they have a perfect distribution case against you on a silver platter with no work at all.

Hell, my local narcs don't even watch the hydro shop.
