The plan is to have 3 18w fluorescents for lighting. Simple enough.
My exhaust system is going to be a bit more complex.
I want to use between 1 and 4 120mm computer fans with a fan controller like this.

I just want to know is it possible to stick a computer power supply (400w) in the box with the controller and fans hooked up.
Also if anyone has ideas for 120mm mini carbon scrubbers let me know

Looks like you got a paln , I don't see why it wouldn't work , but it's overkill I think , prob'ly gunna be 3 times more then you should be paying or more , i'd look in search for a few fan controlers and fan setups
as for scrubbers , I'm use'n activated carbon water filters , whole system cost me less then 20$us @HD

It’s the automatic temperature control that has me. I was going to try it on a wardrobe with a 600w HPS cool tube

I have an idea for a 120mm fan carbon scrubber.

120mm to 80mm Fan adaptor $9.90ea

Aluminum fan guard with filter. This filter has an efficient thin design that effectively stops dust from entering the case, while minimizing airflow restriction.
80mm $5.50ea
120mm $9.90ea

Good fans, quiet and powerful.
Fan Speed: 1400 RPM +/- 15%
Air Flow: 72CFM
Noise Level: 14 dBA

Sandwich carbon between the two filters on the fan adaptor

If more power is needed to cool the 600w

Delta 120mm Ultimate High Speed Fan $38.00
Specifications: 120x120x38mm, 220.01 CFM @ 4600 RPM, 65.0 dBA, 29.40 watts, 2.45 amps, Maximum Air Pressure 26.44 mm H²O, 12v DC, 3+4 pin connectors

220.01 CFM !!!! :yoinks:

SilenX 400w Fanless power supply. 0 dBA $255 :sasmokin:

I plan to do a few more grows so I may as well do it rite. I want the simplicity of setting the temperature on the fan control and having it adjust the fans automatically.

Im thinking devoting channels 1 and 2 to the cool tube and 3 & 4 to air circulation.

The controller is only $85

Really it’s not that much difference in price to a standard 150mm with scrubber. This way the temps will be exact. The power supply is 0db. The fans are 14bd. shhhh

You're wasting your money on items you'll either regret or laugh about later, after you get more experience (EDIT:sorry about this statement; I have no idea of your experience!). It reminds me of my friend who weighed the soiled diapers of his first kid to make sure his "volumes" in and out were comparable; what a bust!

If you have that much money in your pocket burning a hole, get a 4 inch Vortex inline fan, solid state speed reducer, and a little can scrubber. Way overkill for your little box, but at least that way you'll actually be able to use this shit again rather than stuffing it into your junk pile in 6 months.
