What advice are you looking for exactly? Seems you have everything you need...

sw: it seems like this project has turned out well.. the hydro system installed (ebb buckets) was removed because my lack of space...its easier to move pots around then buckets....

but there is always room for improvment... ;)

One thing I noticed was you laid out all that money for equipment, and I agree it sounds good, but you sure didnt spend alot of money on those strains. I am not knocking those strains, but if you are looking for some improvement, I would try some different strains.

the tester...I had a 400$ seed order form Gypsy! THANKS!! and im starting out with the cheapest (price wise) and when I get the room dialed I will run some good strains...I should add the money was also spent on my veg room....Ezclone,400wMH,2 x T5, ...

Dialing in is a perfect time to test strains that will do well in your enviro. I mean, my blueberry lifesaver doesnt smell nearly as "blueberryish" coming out of hydro... but the yields are a little better. You get the point.

It might be wise to start out with lower cost seeds until you dial in your grow method, but when you look at your electricity bill running 2k in lights, you might wish you bought better quality strains instead. After all, will be hard to fail with the equipment you are talking about, so it all comes down to the quality of the strain, if you think you need improvement.

I would cut off all those brown /dead leaf material from the plant, it could go moldy and spread on to the buds (under right conditions)

Jesse, what are the dimensions of your grow area? Is it a closet, cab or room? Are you running both lights in the same room?

its a room 4x8 but only 4x6 is being used to grow 7' celings..both in same room on 240v@30a

sounds like you got everything you need.... personally i would say that you do not need anything else that will improve the out come of your set up....i barely have 2/3 of that stuff and have been able to produce nice crops. In my opinion i feel that you would only be able to improve on your strains, as well as your growing techniques; ie. ferts, water, CO2 and temp relationships (has a strong relationship regarding to rate of growth..wont go into it because i am assuming you have some knowledge of this).

i do agree that using the cheaper strains to figure out how your growroom performs is a good idea; but i would also recommend working on your grow techniques while you do this, all strains can be grown to their maximum potential in your environment. Because you know that you already have the requirements for light, air exchance, and as well as CO2 suppliment for any strain that you will be growing; means that water and fertilizers are the only two that you can really "improve". Now i know that you said that this was not to turn into an discussion about growing methods; but...i feel that not speaking about this would hinder your growrooms performance.

Is it possible that we may be able to get some stats on temps and ppm of soil leaching? by the looks of your picture you have there you're temps are possibly a bit high; or you are overfertilizing...altho they do look nice just that bit of overfertilizing can have adverse affects on your crop (potentially)... i also agree with dre86 that the decaying leaves should be removed for the same reasons that he stated....

hope this helps... dont mean to start any arguements... but i do feel that growing methods are the only thing that should be improved in youre situation... finding the strain you like to grow will come in time, but find out your water/fertilizing methods first...biggest importance when growing any kind of plant.

Strike thanks for you input...you are right I need to take it back to K.I.S.S (keep it simple shithead) because I have been overferting...thats my biggest weakness and the worst hinder to my crops...

my ppms were 1800PPM in my grow room but that always seems to burn em' from now on im going to stop feeding the shit out of these plants im going to stick to 800PPM for the flower room.....I need to also add another 2 weeks to my veg and LST..LST is awesome...temps stay at 78-82F lights on an about 70-75F lights off...

point blank... In my last 2 grows in this new room I have overferted...THAT IS WHERE IM GOING TO START FIXING...and yes Genetic is a super important part of the system..

this was my first real grow...
