well ....you have several options....but unfortunately I cant give you a proffessional opinion on this problem your having because I dont have enough
experiance with hydro Im actually a soil grower ..lol.
But if the mom with brown roots is growing slowly in comparison...to the babys..you might consider just freeing up some room for the younger plants to fill out.Or a good flushing never hurts,if you want to try to save the mom. Then redo solution.Dont know..ask pico..LOL
But why do you care if she makes a good impresion on her babys? lol
I need to get my thread started,Cuz im a soil grower At the moment.

those are gorgeous :nono: man would i like to be there.
I am going to go weaker on her nutes than the babes. The first time i ran her she was on weak nutes and i jumped up to med feed this time. The kids love it but they have never known any different. I just thought she would overwhelm the room since she was established already. Ever since i trimmed her back she ain't happy. But i think i will leave her run and see what happens. I have the other mom and she is doing great plus i still have 20 clones left in the veg room
and i am going to do a flush when she wakes up. thanks for the idea  i don't know what i was thinking

Been busy

Been busy

I been really busy..and I am working out some things with my kiddy pool gardens still. This is my 2nd try.First time i got over lb a light/pool but...the plants in the center of the pool had heavy signs of nutrient stress.
This time i switched fertilizers thinking it would help and I watered/fed less.
But Im having the same problem.Ive come to the conclusion that the shape of the pool allows nutrients to gather in the middle and stagnate which burns/stresses.So I already solved this problem in my other room by placing the pools on pallates and drilling holes with my cordless all over the bottom of the pool to supply even drainage across the entire pool. But this other room didnt have that done yet and the pools were already half full of my ocean forest ready to plant.Anhow they are going to be all right they are still growing rapidly but I been flushing them and Im gonna take more pics of them in 2 weeks once they have buds stacking up.Right now they have some curled leaves and Im sorta bummed/mad.
My outdoor ones are DARK green and beutiful, and luckily the transition from indoor to outdoor wasnt too much of a photoperiod shock because they seem to be growing vegetatively which is important when using clones outdoors.Ill have some pics of them and a thread this week.Just..... between the 3 gardens ,music, and my family/bills I have little time.

bro! first 6000w!; r u kidding me, i need 2 know what kind of electric bill u r pushing. 2nd the flowers u put out side( strwbry ) I defenitely want see some pics of that i've been kicking around doing that 4 wks. and lastly i am running the cough, cali indica,LA. confidentialxcannalope haze and a indoor mix that i picked up at the 05 cannabis cup; the question is r u using a kiddie pool 2 grow in? and r u growing organically in soil or hydro? this is my very 1st grow and i am growing organically in soil.
dunno exactly the bill..but there are charts inside good ballasts and on the hydrofarm website that convert hours of use into dollars per day/month by mulitipying your local kilowat hour rate charge. You have to look at your bill too see that kilowatt hour rate charge first.
Yes im doing vaious experiments with the pools because Im starting a company too distribute them. They work quite well outdoors..but Im still perfecting the application for indoor.

And I use foxfarm ocean forest...but Im thinking of trying coco, and or sunshine basic 2 soilless mix because I have had good results with soilless mediums indoors before.
Not hydroponic BTW just soilless, theres is a bit of a difference.I think the main difference is your ph doesnt have to be lowered and altered as much with soilless mediums as with hydroponics ones. Its sorta the best of both worlds because it hold nutrients like a hydroponic medium, and has no nutes in it by itself. But the ph maintanence isnt so touchy.

mine are coming out of the overfert. probs. burnt alot of leaves. But they are gonna be alright.I havent fed for almost 2 weeks now,and I been watering heavy.I might give a light feeding soon.Im going to take a 4th week of flowering pic in 1 more week. They are at 3 weeks of 12 now,and little nugglets are nicely formed and already smell like a light berry smell.
I think even though i burned them I should still get a LB per light...but I know that if I do these pools right I can get 2 lbs per pool/1000 watt light.
Gona keep trying till I perfect it.Third times a charm and next time will be my third try...Im thinking about going to get some clones now(from my mother room)) to get my next try started.
I know what my problem has been....2 many nutes..and not enough drainage holes on the bottom of the pool. And the pools need to be off the ground to get proper drainage.Next time I should hit 2 lbs a light.

I got a better surprise when i got home than i expected.

I had 9 different cuts waiting for me when i got home from work.

Now i have
Strawberry Cough (growing now)
and i received today

OG Kush, Jackie-O, Blowfish, Sensi-Star, Biko, Agent Orange, and Sputnik 2.0

That should keep me busy for a while :muahaha: :rasta:

this is really getting to be fun.

Right now i am flushing my mom for 5 days. All the girls look great. The mom is looking better.

It is so nice to have friends :headbange
