my stash/puzzle box

Ok, so I like to keep variety on hand, right, but I don't want alot of loose little bottles laying around, so I built a spring/magnetic stash bow, complete with rolling/breakup tray on top. You turn the lower white ring until it lock into place and the locking bars "click" out of place, and then lift off the top. It locks up really tight, and looks fairly inocent, at least when closed.

Here it is closed:

And being opened:

Here you can see the two center locking pins that keep it together, and my label with info on the strains inside:

And here they are retracted again:

What do you guys think?

Each vial will hold 2 or 3 grams of loose bud, once it's broken up. I keep my brickweed in individual 2 gram vaccum-sealed pouches, and take it out when the jar gets empty. I keep my HG and good bud in vaccum jars, and break it out a gram or 2 at a time. That way, I have variety handy, but it's always fresh, too.

How I made it is a bit more than I could describe, but if you know anyone who is a machinest or engineer, they could help you out.

It's a fairly simple process for someone with access to a machine shop, but it's fairly involved.

I went to see my guy last night, and he threw me a $20 sample pack - 2g each of Blue Northern Lights, Burmese Melon and Shoreline, so now between that and my other strains at home, I don't have enough room!

I'll have to build a bigger one, darn it all........

You should make a tut on how you did your hiding box. Its really stealthy and comes in handy when pigs come to my house and :fsu:

that is wicked cool man!

Like others have said, BIGGER! You should make one that will accommodate pint or half pint mason jars! that'd be so pimp!

But awesome awesome job, the craftsmanship is excellent!
