hey the rise

i wouldnt worry you cant o.d your babies on superthrive but in general use 1 drop to each 3 to 4 litres believe it makes the diffrent in plant health!
why not plant your whole seed stock and polinate a few females to top it back up again? just an idea from a brother to another

peace

The reason why it says use Superthrive ONLY AFTER SEXING, is because with AF strains I have seen it show more males when used before sexing. I assume it has to do with hormone production.

After sexing you can use SuperThrive at 1/4 teaspoon per gallon.

thats interesting icci wonder if it could produce enough hormones in a femmed strain to make 1 or 2 go male??? have you ran that experiment?

Not the best way to make FEM seeds if that is what you are getting at, as there is no evidence that it effects all females, just shows more males in AFs when planting Regular male/fem seeds. No I havent tested it on Female seeds to see if they hermie, so go for it let me know what you find. It is really just my observation, I ran 4 runs with super thrive at the start and every time it would produce more males then I was getting using SuperThrive After sexing. So, I never use it now,, it is not a fact could be just bad luck on 4 grows picking so many male seeds, but the one fact does remain, I got a LOT more males then normal, about 30% more males on average when using SuperThrive before sexing.

Why only add SuperThrive Only After Sexing?? I dont understand that. It is made for Seedlings and to help the roots produce and get stronger. :eggnog:

I will make the edit on the 1st post this time,, as i have covered this in like page 8 or 9.

Throughout my AF experience, it has shown every time I used Super Thrive before sexing I would end up with on average 30% more males then when i didnt use it. That is why I only add it After Sexing to make sure I get all the females I can and then feed them the Super Thrive which the plants love. Makes them more healthy and production is the highest quality.

you should update the first post for people who cant get peace of mind fruit and flower because ive been told by a few hydro stores that the happy frog is the only stuff being offered.

i couldnt prep my tea on days 7-10 because of my trip to the midwest, you think its fine to add on day 14? i can adjust or skip feedings i guess =/

ya I will update the first post. again as Fox Farm has pulled Peace of Mind from the market saying that Happy Frog is the same,, but I am still testing the Happy Frog Fruit and Flower, In the mean time, EVERYONE needs to get the Black Gold brand ROSE AND FLOWER. It has been tested and works fine with these directions, and is the only substitute I would recommend.

well bro they really need that boost around day 7-10 to push them as big as they can get before pre-flower starts to set in. The bigger they are at day 10 the bigger they will be in the end. AFs are a pain that way, no wiggle room for mistakes in the begining, or you may stunt them.

I would feed them a little like 1/2 mild TEA, so only use 1/2 table spoon per gallon of water and feed them that, 4-6 days after they sprout, then when you get back feed them on day 14 normal Mild TEA. Then adjust as needed, getting it back on schedule. Feeding them at key point in thier growth cycles is the key, that is why you must feed them at the times listed for best results.

allright well i mixed some of the fruit & flower into the soil before planting hopefully they wont get pissed at me for neglecting their first feeding, day 17 is weds and they WILL have a mild tea waiting for them. I just got 15 Mossy's Jems put in the mail heading my way and ive got 5 short stuff #1's that i will surely be planting once i thin the crop out during sexing

Mild TEA- For Weeks 1 - 3

Only use this TEA at days 7-10, and again around day 17-21.

Hey man since I am just transplanting at around day 14 should I wait more towards the 21st day before giving them this mild tea ?

Or do you think thats to long to go without feeding the new roots ?

ya it is ok to wait as there is more then enough food in the Ocean Forest soil to keep your new roots happy for a week. Feed them Mild Tea at day 21, unless they show they need food earlier, which I doubt will happen.

What food are you using ,, Happy Frog or Black Gold?
