There are actually railroad police LEO and I am not kidding. They are more concerned with transients, the weapons they carry, and the safety of the contents the railroad cars are shipping. I am wondering which patrol cars they use in your area? GO with your gut instinct. It is better to be safe. Anyway where I grew up in the Midwest there is ditch weed (Hemp) all over the place down by the tracks so LEO wouldn't know where to start. During the war years they moved a bunch of hemp for the war effort.

Right around harvest time, choppers are flying everywhere nearby.. No biggie. Cpl days later Im sitting in the house on the PC, and I hear a fucking chopper, sounds like its landed in my yard, walls are thumping and shaking.

A few years back I had a chopper hovering 40ft above 27 plants all around 6-8ft tall , I was actually the other side of London holding my dog while she was being mated when the mobile rang . It was the missus & I could hear the chopper on the phone while she was telling me that she could see the plants waving in the downdraught from the rotors as she was stood at the kitchen window .
Turns out a joyrider was being chased by the police & done a runner into a large scrub area & they were looking for him . I wasn't going to cut them & sweated it out for another 3 week when they were finished . Never had any bang on the door .

Why don't you quote my whole post? Somewhere along the lines, i said "where i live".I don't know how it is done in your area. Here there were many incidents like that and they were written on PAPER. :tiphat:

A stakeout for 14 plants? Highly doubtful dude. Paranoia just comes with the territory in guerrilla grows. I did 3 seasons in a nearby canyon and everything that was almost surely something, always turned out to be nothing

This......x2. Unless you have a 50 plant plot or more, the cops aren't going to waste their resources. Pull and go. This is all some of my own opinion and from experience. I've seen DEA agents zip down, cut them down, and zip back up with the plants. I'm located in the mountains of the north east United States.

34 hrs since last post from OP....Hope he`s not untimely incarcerated for 14 plants.....

Railroads do in fact have their own police force that`re for all intents and purposes federal marshalls with jurisdiction nationwide , but....

What bonghits just said about bored cops could be possibly true in smaller municipalities , but said 14 plants would`ve had to have been seen from the air to tip said "bored officers" off to the existence of said pot patch.....now...

If you`ve gone to the extremes of not going the same way twice and creating gametrails that lead directly to the patch that`s seen from the air like a sore dick , then it`s possible the unmarked vehicles were railroad detectives around while workers were performing duties or there for any number of reasons beside a clandestine mj patch....so...

Hunter`s moon falls on Oct. 8th instead of round Halloween as a rule , so the moon will be at it`s brightest of the yr and you can go right to your patch under cover of darkness without any flashlights or headlamps as long as the sky`s clear of cloud cover .....trust me...

I know this from personal experience of guerilla patches over 12 yrs running before the military took over air surveillance in my neck of the woods back many yrs ago....

I always harvested my shit at night beginning on Hunter`s moon and every full moon after that till everything was in and dryin , cuz I live in the hell of the dirty south where 1 plant can getchas a cultivation charge with trafficking slapped on with it if the "wet" plant weighs more than 2.2 lbs for a mandatory sentencing guideline of up to 20 yrs in state prison......that said....

Be careful TM , make a dry run and go back to your vehicle and go home.....If the doors don`t get kicked in within 24 hrs , go back and get yer shit the next night....hopefully Oct 7th and 8th will be a good day for you...if the plants are ready that is..AND they`re still there.....anyways....

Guys...don`t tell him he`s bein too paranoid for his own good cuz paranoia keeps your ass safe and OUT of jail....Folks in medville have no clue what it`s like in a non med state , much less in the Hell of Bible belt country...hope I`m not anywhere close to you TM , and if caught you`ll receive more leniency from the justice system hopefully...and lastly....

If yas go and the plants aren`t ready and still look undisturbed , GTFO and go back next full moon and let em be all they can be as long as weather holds up......Good luck , Godspeed , and...

Peace....DHF....:ying:.....

Thanks for all of the responses all, I was camping all weekend hense the lack of responses. I've taken everything into consideration, there were some very good pieces of advice and I'll let you know what I did when it's all said and done. I have a feeling it's nothing but I can't be sure yet. I'll take my time and do this right, stay tuned...

You got great advice. And the choice is urs. Ive been in situations like this and had them taken by rippers and by police. U can tell the difference. If the police found them, there is a high likelihood they would take them cause the amount of cost vs the amount they could bust u for doesn't add up. Plus they don't want to run the risk of u getting lucky and harvesting, so they would almost always take them down. there is no way they are 24 hr surveilancing 14 plants. Maybe a cam, but again I doubt it cause they wouldn't want u harvesting and they still get credit for finding and destroying it. Just were camo covered face, dry run, and no lights. Been there, done that, man a little raccoon or squirell in the woods will never scare u more tho. lol Prepare for an adrenaline rush, and not much sleep the night of harvest. .lol
gl

a couple more important tips. Keep urself as calm as possible, so u can make good clear decisions. Have a cover story, just in case, and never give urself up by admitting anything, in worst case scenarios.

and go back next full moon

You can still be seen in good moonlight by somebody with hunters eyes . I`d invest is some night vision & go in pitch blackness , I have done it & you can see enough of a plant to clearly work on it & be back home in the dark .

A Friend ?

A Friend ?

Harvesting doesn't seem like a problem getting out of there with the plants in one piece does. I would say have a friend go into the patch and act like they're harvesting and see if anybody follows when they leave.

Holy crap , what do you do for an enemy? LOL!! Send in someone you know deserves to get caught, for stealing someone else' crop. Or , use the situation to validate your trust in someone you're unsure of.. Tell them where they are and how well they're doing and just about ready - and see if they turn up missing...

Good luck bro. Act wisely yes, but don't say fuck it and forget leo. Just measure it up for what it is. Ur willing to take said risks after u evaluate them and decide they are worth it.

have a homie drive back and forth checking both entrances while you in the bush. grab a few burners and have him call even if hes getting pulled over so you can leave clean without burner or flowers. your boy needs only call if he sees them heading your way. call him on the way out to make sure coast is clear. your welcome. peace, pot and karma. 1:ying:
