My new EZ clone... How easy is it?..

Be sure to field strip and sterilize the unit between uses. They are infamous for immediate catastrophic failure with poor hygiene usually being the culprit. Some report the use of EWC teas eliminates the need for sterilizing.

Break a stem.
what are EWC teas?

Nice! Do you always go 3 plants per pot? I'll have to check the other thread - what I remember seeing looked like 2-3 SOG styl-ee plants per pot.. But at 6 weeks of veg, you're probably not cramming 3 per pot.. ?
Most of the time just two... But I only had enough dirt for that pot and 3 plants left to transplant... So I decided to put them all in the same container... Since they weren't that big...

I too have tried just about everything... I def prefer the EZ cloner... Mostly because of well how easy it is... You just set it up and let it do its thing... The only thing you really have to worry about of water temp... And if your grow room is running at the proper temps you don't even have to worry about that...

this may be a dumb question, but I never did this. Clonex says use 1-2 teaspoons per quart. Do you just mix a quart or so and dunk them in there, or do you have to add the solution at that rate to the reservoir water (4-8 tsp per gallon times 10-12 gallons)?

I don't think more than 5ml of liquid clonex / gallon is needed in a reservoir. Though, I'm not an expert on liquid clonex.
