My new Aeroponic project 3

Hello, I'm Cannebi and I'm from Spain. A week ago I started my new project on a Aeroponic RDWC hybrid home system. Basically they are containers with 0.3mm nebulizers that are fed through a 1300w monoblock pump at 80psi. Inside the containers I have left a minimum level of water with air diffusing stones. The containers are joined together to maintain the same level and a recirculation of water is generated that ends up in another container to which I placed a level sensor to return the water to the main container.
I leave you here some photos so you can see my new system.

I am trying different combinations since it is the first time that I grow aeroponic, the previous crops were done in RDWC and honestly, everything is totally different. I prepared the cuttings in the neptune aerocloner and transferred them to the new system. Setting an Ec of 0.9ms and Ph of 5.8 but a few days later they showed me deficiencies in CalMag. Also due to the 11k luxs I started with, so I had to correct to 8k luxs and lower the Ec to 0.6ms.

And this photo a few days after correcting Ec and reducing it to 8k luxs

Today the current state of the roots is good and the plants continue their course. I have set the Ec at 0.8ms and continue at 8k luxs without being able to increase it since if I increase the intensity a little more they immediately lower the leaves. The truth is, I still have many doubts, here in Spain there is hardly any information about it since they don't want to complicate life in the crops so much. But I'm passionate about this, so I like to take risks and try new things.

I use fertilizers from the full range of GHE, osmosis water at 0.05ms to which I base with CalMag from Atami at 0.5ms + single Mg with a total of 0.7ms of base water. During water mist times I run the pump in cycles of 5 seconds every 3 minutes. The truth is I don't know if what I'm doing is correct, I'm just trying it and seeing how the plants react. Today I changed the watering cycle to test, to 5 seconds every 5 minutes. I would appreciate some good helpful comments. Greetings to the entire community!!!

When I grew high pressure aero it seemed like the plants wanted a higher ph than my tables, 6.2-6.5 seemed like the happy place. My ec stared at 1.8 and moved up to 2.4 at peak flower. This is with a Dli between 50-60.

The truth is I haven't tried modifying the pH yet, I stayed at 5.8 from the beginning. Today I will change it to 6.2 to see how they react. Thanks for the advice

I find slight changes in between the range of 5.8 - 6.2 work best for me.
So everytime I mix a barrel I change the ph by 0.1 till I reach 6.2 and then I drop it down again.
Works well for me

I appreciate your advice, I will do the following tests and at the end of the week I will upload a photo so you can see its status.

Another question I have is with the irrigation times. Which ones do you think would be correct?
I tried 7 seconds every 3 minutes and right now I'm at 5 seconds every 5 minutes. This is the current state of the roots, both with one combination of time and another, they are always moist.

I haven't got a proper answer for you on this one, since I use 15L pots full of coco and after I drained them with plenty runoff (watering by hand) they're good for the day. In summer sometimes I water twice.

Anyone with an automatic system, please help this fellow grower out

Ps. Nice roots btw 👌

Day 13 Growth, well finally changes are seen, I know it's only a few days but the issue had me crazy. Maybe I did the pruning a little early because they were recovering, but you begin to notice how the new shoots stretch. Another thing to keep in mind is that McFritter is Indica dominant, hence its slower growth. Also after researching more about Aeroponics, the growth is usually slower at the beginning and starts to get stronger from the 3rd to 4th week, so I have to be patient and see if this is really the case. My intention was to transfer them to bloom in their 3rd week, but we'll see. The roots are going great, every day getting more and more, the appearance of the plants is something else, they have taken on a very healthy green tone and I like that more. I raised Ph to 6 and it has stayed good all week and Ec remains at 0.75ms. Everything is being very stable and the truth is that I like "less work" 😂. I keep the PPFD at 200 but tomorrow I will start tightening it up to 300 PPFD and increasing Ec up to 1ms gradually over the week.

Day 15 Growth

In the end I decide to change Res every week, I am going to do things as I had planned no matter how much work it gives me, but it is what I have to do if I want everything to go well. What I have realized these 15 days is that in Aeroponic the plants do not need "so much food" and it must be because they receive it directly into the roots with the misting, meaning that the loss of nutrients is minimal or practically non-existent. All values remain stable, without increases or decreases in both Ec and Ph. As I mentioned, this week I am going to start gradually tightening the pressure to see what happens! Now I won't upload a photo until the end of next week.

In today's Res exchange:
* Calmag: 1ml/l * Mg mono: 0.25ml/l * Silicon: 1ml/l * Pro Roots: 0.5ml/l * Tripart Grow: 0.4ml/l * Tripart Micro: 0.20ml/l * Tripart Bloom: 0.20ml/l * Liquid Oxygen: 1ml/l

- Ec: 0.85ms
- Ph: 6
- Water temperature 20.5 Cº
- Ambient temperature 24/25 Cº

Day 22 Growth
Luckily this week has been theirs, I think that now they have completely woken up and are following a correct course. The day after receiving the samples of C02 Led Effect I decided to try it with eagerness and it went well! This week they have taken on a darker green tone and they already look healthy, they have not continued to show symptoms of Calcium deficiency since I added 0.25ml/l. So they have been from mid-week until now at 1.1ms at 11K lux with no variations in the Ec, just a slight rise in the Ph at the end of the week. Thursday I did a small defoliation and a second apical pruning only on the main tips. Now they measure about 25cm, some more, others a little less, but already well branched. I was thinking of moving them to bloom starting monday but since I'm in no hurry I'm going to give them 1 more week of growth, which would be the first week I lost due to a rookie's failure in aeroponics. This week a total of approximately 20L has been drunk. Tomorrow I will change the Res and general clean the system, filters.
