My main concern right now is the light coverage. I thought the light coverage was a rectangle with the longer side from bulb tip to bulb base. not wider from the sides. IS IT?
I always though you put the reflector with bulb going longways to the space. Like If the space is 5 x 2, the bulb would be pointing the 5 feet and the sides of the bulb would illuminate the 2 feet. check out the pic:
I thought the rectangle of coverage was the same shape as the bulb shape. Like the pre made cabinets you can buy. they have the light or cool tube how I am saying. The 4 feet is illuminated by the top and bottom or front and back of the reflectors, not the sides. The sides are lighting 3.5.
I know the exhaust works better in B, But isn't A's light coverage better?
I thought I knew this kinda stuff...
Sorry for such newbie stuff, still fun to draw about though

That is the reason that I have it like I do. For light coverage. The extraction fan is way over adequate for how much cooling power I have!GrassRoots said:I agree, are you able to keep your temps alright with the current setup? Also, considering that you have 2 lamps you are essentially covering 3.5 feet by 4 feet with each one. Don't reflectors spread the light more towards the sides therefore making room B the better choice for light spread since you've got 4 feet to cover in that direction?
