Yup. Mine too Cept tha Idiot To the west of Me wonders over once in a while if He see's I'm in the garage with the door open. He's a harmless drunk. I am neighborly when He wonders over, but it is allway's time I'll NEVER get back. He see's everything, and knows Who belongs. He when I began driving truck over the road I got a call one day about a truck in My driveway, and some one in My garage. It was a friend that He never seen before. We have been neighbors since I The Wife and I bought this place in the Fall of 91. His Parents, and Brother live directly behind Me to the South. They're keep to Them selves too. I used to race dirt track stock cars, and would roll in around 1;00am and fire up the car(open headers) to take it off the trailer, and into the garage. broke in several race engines after 10;00pm. This involves starting the engine, and running it at 2000RPM's for like 20minutes, then doing a couple 5-6kRPM pulls before letting idle for a few minutes, then shut down.
All that and NEVER any cops, or even ill words.

my neighbors are real cool ..my closest neighbor is like a video store and not porn ...my next nearest neighbor has been converted to a kayaker and gave me several hundred dollars in painkillers for my broken wrist... fuck the rest of em lol. there is only one cop on duty at a time here and he sits at home drinking most of the time.we deal with our issues in house for the most part you can raise hell here if it acceptable behavior...fired off an ak the other day....looking to relocate somewhere new soon ..maybe spin the bottle with a map..thinking the dirty south tho...some where with fresh water and lots of shit to kill and eat...being not far from saltwater a bonus ....hmmmmmmmmmm

I can only see 2 neighbors from where I am, one set of folk like me, the others don't care for me at all. the friendly set are a husband, wife & teeny bopper daughter that drop in at their own convenience, rarely a warning call. That's okay because Jeff's a DAV from the vietnam war and I have respect for him, his wife's a little bonkers and the daughter is at that curious age (16-17) so if/when she wanders over on her own I send her packing pronto, politely.
The neighbors to the east are a different story, they and their family have lived in this community for a long long time, they have many relatives nearby, they act as if they own the town. So my neighbor 'Stan' (short for Satan) has a holier than thou attitude. I've caught his kids using my place as a shortcut to the highway, something I forbid, I won't allow it because I have hunting dogs that will put their heads down and track any new scents.
One day I called their dad who immediately sides with the kids of course, he walks across the hiway and gets in my face, finally he tells me that he thinks I run a meth lab in my crib, something I'd heard as a rumor being spread by Satan himself. We were talking near my front door and so I excused myself for a second and popped back out with something very scary in my hand
, when I turned toward him I shouted @ the top of my lungs for Stan to leave my property & goddamned fast. He ran off literally shouting to his wife to call the police, and I joined him in shouting for her to call the police "honey!!! call the police!!!!" I shouted at her. No cops ever came, I was within my rights.About 2 years later the local sheriff's report had a story about a meth bust less than a half mile from me, it seems that Stan's best friend Rick has a son who got popped making the shit in a pole building @ his dads place. Hot shit! you know I got some mileage from that one once I caught Stan down @ the gas station
I really dig that 'turnabout' thing in life.......

my neighbors for the most part are cool . leave me alone over alll on one side is a spinster and her mom who is probably in her 90s now and frequently flags me down to do minor repairs . the one behind me is as private as i am and is probably an ic mag member also. the ones on the other side are a group of college students that are all on athletic scholarships and are actually pretty decent have a few partys on weekends but always shut down by 11 at latest and never bother me. across the street is a guy that builds bikes as a hobby but works out of town and is only here about a week a month and even when he is here in never hear him.

When we bought this house we had great neighbors with the exception of one jerk off that lived next to us on the corner. Well they are ALL gone and we are all alone here now. The people who owned their own homes died and the ones that rented are just gone.
Has to be one of the greatest deals on real estate anywhere in the world. 3 big hospitals within a 5 mile radius. Single family homes you can buy in a money magazine number one place for retirement and you can get one for 75 grand on 1/4 acre with a garage ( and up )
TRY to find someone to come to your house and wash your car. TRY to find an honest handyman who will quote you a reasonable cost, not $50/hr. TRY to find free range chickens and decent vegetables at the local supermarket. TRY to find a decent doctor ( despite 3 hospitals )Go ahead and try.
It's as though they are all focused on TRYING TO FAIL.
They are mostly succeeding at that action/lack of action .

my neighbors are dicks.
I have 5 dogs and a 6 foot wood fence so its pretty chill...i am kind of a big guy with a pretty intimidating look on my face so no one messes with us...if needed i have a 12 gauge that does the talkin....we are pretty much at a "just wave" status with the close neighbors...DJXX
left side don't like, they moved in last year only the wife speaks English. I have said hello to all of them with no response back. Kids have dented my truck, almost shattered my front window twice. Even after telling them to not play in front of my house they still do.
Right side great people, wife,husband older daughter(40ish) all have visited me, made me cookies, say hello like normal people do. They all lov my dog give him treats.

I'm in an apt complex, everyone says 'Hi' but keeps on moving.
This morning however, I took a load of trash to the dumpster and found that 'someone' had left 3 5gal rootballs upended next to the dumpster.
They had cut off the woody stalk close to the soil surface but it sure looked familiar.
I'ma gonna have to report this to the rental office as I just can't live in a place with CRIMINAL ACTIVITY going on.
