How big are your containers? AF strains typically do really well in 4-6" pots.

Looks like those envirolights are doing you well!

Hi man, well they are in 2gal pots, my next pot size down is 3 litre, which was to small for these, last time they struggled alot except for the ones in the 2gals.......yea they seem to like the mix of the bulb spectrum, i'll have to see how they do now the extra bulb is in :)

i have always used larger containers for AF plants, because once they get rootbound even after potting up the dont recover well. 6" is the smallest i use..... 2 gal is quite a bit bigger but then again, you are using an AK cross of the LR which i imagine puts LR size to shame. can you recommend the topmax SS? i mean, if you just used double the amount of biobloom instead of the topmax would you notice a difference?

the top max is to help with trichome production and overall resin coverage, its good stuff, dont just double up on the bloom neither becuase its different from the top max altogether, you might burn them up with to much bloom, best way is to slowly up the dose.....size wise yea they are bigger but some vary and it helps having a HPS aswell.

I am looking for a good supplement in flower other than PK13/14. Here is what I dug up on Topmax:

A 100% organic bloom stimulant comprised of the pure essence of special flowers. TopMax stimulates the blossom cells and increases the transport of sugar molecules within the flowers creating an abundance of floral growth. TopMax also contributes to a soft sweet taste in the finished product. Although designed to be used with soil, TopMax can also be used with other soil less and hydroponic mediums.

Hey SS, does it have a PK rating on the label? Has it overall been worth it?

yes.... thats what im waiting on... has it been worth it? can u actually notice the difference when using it?
jack... the nute levels listed on the bottle say: 0.1 - 0.01 - 0.1. am i right stealth?
im thinking possibly just some blood meal etc may do a better job....

hi jack, yea it helps a lot in flower, cant remember what the label says but its well worth it if your using the bio bizz range, and NG2K yea it is woth it everytime.

Old soil typically isn't too bad if you supplement or use a liquid fertilizer.

The leaves are curling and I typically get that if I over water or give them too much Nitrogen.

thats the thing see the soil wasnt even washed lol....plus im not quite sure of which soil it is, its either plagron royalty mix or bio bizz all-mix either way i recon its going to be to hot for them.

heres what it says on bio-bizz allmix
The potting soil can be reused indefinitely on condition that the following rules are observed:
1. ?Do not reuse potting soil that has been infested severely by parasites.
2. ?Remove the top layer of soil and throw it away.
3. ?Remove roots and plant debris as best you can, a forked tool is useful for this.
4. ?Add fresh potting soil, coconut fibre and perlite until the original volume is reached.
5. ?To the 1000 litres of soil add 50 litres of Pre-Mix and 100 litres of BIOBIZZ Worm-Humus and mix thoroughly.*
6. ?The soil mixture now needs to be lightly wetted in order for it to humidify. For best results leave for at least a few days in order for the microbiological bacteria's and enzymes in the Pre-Mix to proliferate.

*Reuse per 1000 litre soil mixture:
-?5% Pre-Mix (50 litres)
- 10% BIOBIZZ Worm-Humus (100 litres)

and in saying its going to be too hot for them.... i dont know, if its bio-bizz it should be fine, (never used plagron products), but i put newly rooted clones into bio-bizz and they did fine.

it does look like too much N to me by this pic.... with the bent fingertips

If you haven't overwatered, I would definitely have to say too much N.
