Everything looks great, SB. Keep up the good work, man.

Question: You gonna put some cages around those girls or no?

HB.

Whatup HB! Thank You sir. :) Yeah, I really do need to wrap em. I still gotta decide what I'm using. I am thinking of trying bamboo poles with netting.

Healthy looking girls and nice strains too.
Thanks Croptober! Im very happy with the strain mix, right up my alley. :rasta:

Here is a little update. I admit, I dont spend the time and energy I need to on the plants, too many other demands on my time like a FTJ and busy with other things so Im hoping that just keeping things simple and using cheap organic ferts will do the job. I hand water with 5 gallon buckets every morning. I carry buckets from my res of RO water. Then Im gone til the evening every day. every week I try and give them something. Guano, kelp, fish hydrolysate, AC tea are all on the menu.

Plants are really tufting out now! I hear you on being busy. They get what they get. 5 gal bucket watering is a little rough but its quick, isn't it? They don't seem to mind. Very nice assortment going on there. Looking forward to watching your garden grow! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Noonin, You are so right, I need to cage em soon. And I will... I need to find the netting,, hoping the grow biz has some. Best wishes on yer grow man.

Excellent healthy plants. Do you have plans to upsize the pots?
,

Thank you Witheridge. I appreciate you stopping by bro. These are going to finish in the 30s. It will be interesting to see the yield from 12 plants in 2 yards of dirt.

Thanks Vince, I hope so bro, that's my goal! :)

Dude Pipeline.. you hit it on the head bro. They get what they get. Its really a just a hobby for me, and what a rewarding hobby it is. LOL.. yeah its true, watering with 5 gallon buckets is the fastest way I have seen. No problemo they love it.. I do have to carry the buckets 100 ft or so... 2 at a time of course... 3 trips= 30 gal in about 10 minutes. People have said the Vermifire dries quick, Id say its true. Im watering in the evening too but just about a half gal each to keep them perked. Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them.

Yeah, I think the fabric containers promote fast drying, no doubt. If you are not watering enough the plants will let you know. :)

Hey Smoke -they still growin'?
yeah updating now. :rasta:

Ive had a hell of a time keeping these girls properly watered. Damn its been hot and Im gone 12 hours plus a day. My old dad is here guarding my spot and he can aim and dial a phone but not able to carry water or stand out there in the heat with a trickling hose from my ressy. The well water has been used in emergency watering situations while Im gone, its cool water but heavily mineralized, Its OK here and there only.

Ive been feeding almost daily with GO BioThrive bloom for a couple weeks. Things are looking fair to good. White Bubbas were the first to start flower and all plants are now flowering. I have some damage on many plants if you look close: from heat, wind and near wilt events. Losing lots of inner fan leaves maybe 3-6 (edit: or 25) a day per plant. I did not net them but I bought some plastic netting. Its an amazing spot because the heavy winds are blocked but the sun is wide open...all day til dusk... but they cook...

Ive seen very few moths this year, found no eggs on any plants all I see are an occasional praying mantis and some gnats. I'm guessing that's due to the drought... hardly any mosquitoes either, no bats, all moved somewhere else this year. Ive used no preventative measures so I am keeping a close watch.

Nice job man, I'm growing in 30-45 gal smart pots also

What do you expect yield wise per plant? Pound per? Just curious because mine are about the same, little shorter but wider...

Thanks for stopping by bro. It's a good question. :) I averaged 12 oz each using these 30s before but these plants are definitely bigger so I think 1 per is possible on most of them. A couple are probably 1/2 though. Best wishes on a big harvest man. :rasta:

I second the layer of straw.

Also, Sounds goofy as hell,
but I put halved wine barrels around my SmartPots to 'insulate' em from the heat.
I had a few, so it was free to me.
Im sure you could cage the pots and wrap the cage in fabric, for the same effect.

The barrels cut the evap way down.
I water at night, totally working out.

Looking great man! Love what the sun does to plants. Sucks they dry out so fast. Hopefully youll get lucky with august weather and itll cool down. Def watching this one till theend!
