so i should raise my ppm a few hundred more?hogwild said:its not nute burn dude. If your paranoid change your res and start from scratch. If your going to start from scratch start out at 5.6 Ph instead of 5.8.As far as your temps go 89 degrees is high, but not that high, i get away with worse. If you can just increase your airflow and or raise the lights... you do have to do something though otherwise as the buds grow they will burn and then you introduce a chance for botrytis to take hold.
i dont know where you got my res temp idea. My res never gets over 72, it is mostly 70 or slightly lowerfarmerbill9 said:keep the ppm where it is. if you change the rez keep the ppm and ph where it is. air temp of 89 is a little high lower to 80, rez temp of 89 is bad it needs to be 70.
light burn is when the light gets too close to the plant and burns it. and your plants are a classic case. hold you hand under the lamp for a full 5 minutes. if its uncomfortable so are your plants. funny thing about light burn is it dosent show up right away. i once had a plant i light burnt, all the leaves turned yellow and WOULD NOt go back to green.
keep the light further away next time
no, they were under flouros as babies.mtnjohn said:if you dont think thats light burn on the tops of your plants...thats fine
but...... thats what it is...no doubt about it
it's not so much from the heat but from the intensity of light
